I made a terrible mistake and I apologize for it. I thought Mrs. Bohannon with the above memorial # was my grandmother's sister. I have found out today that this dear person is not the correct Myrtle Bohannon. I am terribly sorry for the mistake. How to I transfer this back to you.

RE: Jasper Hunt of Ash Hill
Hello! I have learned that Benjamin Hunt was a 2nd cousin, 2 times removed. He was the son of William Jasper Hunt, grandson of Emily Holland Hunt, g-grandson of Harrison Price Holland, my 3rd great grandfather. So I guess we are long lost cousins!
I have found these children of Benjamin & Lucy:
Loren 1912
Martha 1914
Mary 1914
Elmer 1917
Cletus 1925

Is this correct?
It is fun meeting new family!
Blessings!
Pam

RE: Jim Spureon in Ash Hill Cemetery, Fisk, Butler Co., MO
No, I can't find where they died. I can't find them in the 1920 Census either, nor any of their kids. It doesn't appear that they are buried at Ash Hill, nor have I found them in the surrounding area. Their son William and daughter Margaret Barnes went to Washington state and I found their deaths there. Margaret had an obit on her find-a-grave site but it did not give her parents names at all. William's death notice gave his parents as T S Spurgeon and Mary Jane London.

Do you know of anyone researching this family?

Thank you
Mona Herrin

Jim Spureon in Ash Hill Cemetery, Fisk, Butler Co., MO
Do you know of anyone researching this person or any of his relatives? Memorial # 125759039. I believe him to be the son of Thomas S. Spurgeon and Mary Jane London. The name of the mother comes from the death record of William Thomas Spurgeon in Washington state. William would be a brother to Jim. I believe that the father of Jim and William is the brother to my ggrandfather, James Taylor Spurgeon who died in Jackson Co., AL. The mother of James Taylor and Thomas S. Spurgeon was Margaret Spurgeon who I believe was in the 1900 census in the household of Thomas S. and Mary J. Spurgeon. I am trying to find anyone from this line of Spurgeons to compare family stories with. Hopefully, there will be some similarities between the two lines. So far, I have had no luck finding any descendants of this line of Spurgeons.

I appreciate any leads that you may have!
