Sandra, In all the research I do on soldier, which is a number of records, they all say he was in fact killed at Stones River,TN. Before the Park Service changed it's database of soldiers buried in the cemetery, he was listed as buried there, the new database list him as "supposed" buried there, which course he would be in an unknown grave. But other then that I am sure he was killed there. Ted

Thank you for your thoughts, Barbara is my cousin. I never got the chance to meet her, she had moved from Tulsa before I moved there. I did get a chance to meet some women who knew her when I attended a female Veteran's dinner. She was a hoot. Red

Nope, you don't need to redo it. It is perfectly fine. Did you chuckle too, when you read Norman's tombstone that says "Let the good times roll"? He must have had a great sense of humor. Again, my thanks. :) Susan

Thank you so much for the photos. We met Paul and Edna in 1983 when they purchased a home and ranch near Lakeview, Oregon. They always maintained their place there on Greengate but spent summers here. They sold this ranch years later and lived there in (SLO)until he passed away. She remarried and built a new home and passed away shortly after. We were close friends and miss them still. As you can imagine they never got over losing Gary. We were just in San Luis last month and spent some time shopping at some of Edna' favorite areas. We went on to long beach to visit our daughter. Again, Thank You so much.

Sandra - I did the transfer to you ... of Henry Isham. You and I are cousins. My ancestor was Henry's brother Ezra. Our common ancestor is Jehiel Isham and Sarah Mobbs. Best of luck to you in all your genealogical research.

|TnT Adams||RE: Sameul V Wright|
Thank you for all your help. It may not be them. I have Samuel C Wright born about 1820 and his son Samuel R Wright born 1857 in California. That is too funny that we have two surnames that are the same in our family lines.

If you don't mind, I have a request at San Luis Cemetery for Samuel Wright d:1904. I'm trying to find my 3rd Great-Grandfather, so I've been requesting photos of all Samuel Wrights in the areas he could have been living. My last record of him is in 1860, but his sons were still living around California at a later date. Thanks so much.

Are your Thorne's from Texas by chance. My Great-grandmother was Tina Thorne. Most were in Texas, but a couple in Tennessee and S. Carolina.

I'm sorry that someone already took over when you had claimed the grave, however, there is no photo for Robert Wilkinson #74201920. Did you take a photo? Are you able to upload your photo? Thank you so much for your time and driving.

I'll have to give it some thought. Alberta was the wife of one of my 2nd cousins once removed, her second husband, John Morgan Akers.
