RE: John M. Isham
Hi Sandra,
It has been deleted. Looks like we both learned from this experience. Sorry to put you through all this back & forth. Next time I'll ask before I transfer a memorial. I don't have a problem transferring any of the memorials at Hawthorne Gardens. I took the pictures & made the memorials because the cemetery is only a mile from my house & as a pay back for all the help Find A Grave has been to me in locating some of my ancestors. I have no one buried in Hawthorne but knew the memorials would help others like you who do have loved ones there.
Glad I could help you.
Mark

See if you can transfer it back to me. Maybe it will let me delete it? It is worth a try.

Sandra,
Are you looking in the right place. Just above the picture of the head stone it should read [Transfer Management][Edit][Delete].
I looked at all of my memorials both made & transferred to me and that is on all of them.
I can't believe it is not the same on your memorials, both the ones you have made & any that were transferred to you.
It is not right to have TWO memorials for the same person. That is why I transferred them to you so you could either use yours or mine & delete the one you didn't want.

Hi Sandra,
I can not delete a memorial I made once I've transferred it to someone else. Find A Grave says that you should to able to delete it as the manager. Here is what Find A Grave says.
How do I update or delete a memorial that I manage?
In order to update, correct or delete information that YOU have added, simply go to the grave record you would like to alter and click the 'Edit' or 'Delete' link under the person's name. (You may also click on the Edit tab and then click on the link to edit specific information or delete the memorial.)
I have never tried to delete a memorial that was transferred to me. You may have to keep my memorial & add & transfer your info to it.

Hi Sandra,
I transferred John & Grace to you.
This type of thing happens often. I took pictures & made memorials for all of Hawthorne Gardens.
Glad I could help you.

RE: Ezra E Hollis
Sandra, In all the research I do on soldier, which is a number of records, they all say he was in fact killed at Stones River,TN. Before the Park Service changed it's database of soldiers buried in the cemetery, he was listed as buried there, the new database list him as "supposed" buried there, which course he would be in an unknown grave. But other then that I am sure he was killed there. Ted

RE: Barbara Faivre
Thank you for your thoughts, Barbara is my cousin. I never got the chance to meet her, she had moved from Tulsa before I moved there. I did get a chance to meet some women who knew her when I attended a female Veteran's dinner. She was a hoot. Red

Doris Eggert's tombstone photo
Nope, you don't need to redo it. It is perfectly fine. Did you chuckle too, when you read Norman's tombstone that says "Let the good times roll"? He must have had a great sense of humor. Again, my thanks. :) Susan

Thank you so much for the photos. We met Paul and Edna in 1983 when they purchased a home and ranch near Lakeview, Oregon. They always maintained their place there on Greengate but spent summers here. They sold this ranch years later and lived there in (SLO)until he passed away. She remarried and built a new home and passed away shortly after. We were close friends and miss them still. As you can imagine they never got over losing Gary. We were just in San Luis last month and spent some time shopping at some of Edna' favorite areas. We went on to long beach to visit our daughter. Again, Thank You so much.

Sandra - I did the transfer to you ... of Henry Isham. You and I are cousins. My ancestor was Henry's brother Ezra. Our common ancestor is Jehiel Isham and Sarah Mobbs. Best of luck to you in all your genealogical research.
