|Debbie Holth||RE: Jemima Carmichael Gillham|
Hello and thank you so much for the query. I am soooooo sorry - this last year has been awful in so many ways and I pretty much just got involved in other things. I am now back and trying to answer correspondence ASAP!!
Jemima was my great-great-grandmother - as far as I know she was married to David P. Gillham, but I have heard several stories. If you have any info I would love to have it and will share what I know. Thanks so much!!!

Thank you so much for your time in taking the Smiley's grave photo's. It is sad, Rev. Thomas Smiley committed suicide by hanging. He had a history of depression. He could not handle it anymore after the death of his wife and he could not minister at the church he wanted to in North Carolina. He left his only child a orphan who ended up living with her grandparents.
I have been trying to find their daughter. The last I found her was in a 1930 census. She was a patient in Indiana State Sanatorium located in Adams, Parke, Indiana. Her name Leah Marian Smiley b. April 1900 in Indiana. She lived with her grandparents for some time in Missouri, after her parents death. And then she lived at her aunt and uncles house in Indiana.
Do you think you might be able to help me find her? If not that is o.k. I just thought I would ask. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks again for the pictures.

|Bill Little||Thanks much for finding Louise Lee's grave site!|
Thanks so much for finding Louise Eckert Lee's grave site and entering it on Find a Grave. The picture of the headstone confirmed her birth and death dates for my genealogy records. She would be my great Aunt, I guess. She was the sister of my grandfather Jesse J Little.
