RE: Re:Re: Warstler Family
No Lawrence Warstler in my tree. Are you asking about the son of Henry B and Caroline Fasnight?

RE: Re:Re: Warstler Family
Blake,

None of my trees are online. A lot of my photos of the old grave memorials have been uploaded to people's family trees.

Many of the trees on ancestry are imported from other trees and it is very hard to find reliable information because of this. Always, always, always verify before merging into your family history or you could be importing other persons' misinformation. Use family trees on line as a guide only.

There was one person who researched the Warstler family the old fashioned way and was 100% reliable because all of his info was sourced. He is/was from California. I have looked through more than 2,000 of the 12,942 entries for trees available on ancestry and do not see him. It could be that he 'pulled' his tree as it was in the early 1990s that he and I corresponded and his email address that I have 'bounced back'.

Sorry,
Paula

RE: Warstler Family
Dear Blake,

The Warstler family is well documented. They arrived in America about the time of the Revolutionary War and moved to Stark county Ohio in the early 1800s before there was a Stark county and this area was Columbiana county Ohio.

There are a lot of spelling variations and the family is located all over the United States.

Are you a member of ancestry.com?

RE: transfer
Haven' been on this site for a long time so pardon my late reply. I am not from the Butler area but some of my Krontz relatives are buried there in the Krontz cemetery. I live in St. Joseph County, Michigan. Many Krontz relatives live here.

Keeslers
I will transfer Mr. Kessler to you, but as a courtesy. I am related to Clouses, so will keep the wife. I do not manage all of my own relatives, besides direct-line relations, and it is not really the purpose of this site.
Good luck and happy researching!

Verla Reasoner photo request
Verla and several other Reasoners are listed in the cemetery transcription book as having unmarked graves. Would you like a photo of the area?

Transfer guidelines
Hello;
I saw your message on Jim Tipton's profile. Due to the volume of those messages, responding to each is difficult.
There is a common misconception about transfers. The transfer guideline specify "direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." These are the "required transfers". Aunts, uncles and cousins, regardless of degree or number of generations removed, are not "direct" as you do not descend from them. From the guideline "Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." Direct relationships include "parent" or "child", ie. grandparent and grandchild. Find A Grave's "Family First" policy specify "If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents)". This means the same relationships as in the transfer guideline.
Hope this helps.
Diehard

RE: Chalmer Draggoo
From Find a grave:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred.

I'm sorry but a great uncle does not fall into the guidelines, so I am not willing to transfer at this time. I will gladly add any info to the memorial that you would be willing to send me.You can add pictures without having management of a memorial.

Sorry, I am not willing to transfer at this time, but I am VERY happy to update. Remember that you can post pictures to any memorial - you do not have to manage it.
Thank you for any information you are willing to share,
Sheryl

RE: Warren Henry Slater
I could not find him in the SSDI. The 1900 census (very close to his actual birth date) lists birth as Aug 1898. Thus, I updated his memorial. Would you please consider posting his obituary?
Many thanks,
Sheryl
