Thanks for all the photos in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. Your photos are excellent, a good size and very readable. With your help we'll be able to maintain the 100 percent photographed status of this cemetery. Thanks again, MA

RE: Howdy
Hello to you and hope those hot Santa Anna winds have let up. We are fairly cool for now but it is to warm up into the 80's the next couple of days and rain in the forecast as well then it is to cool off again. We are busy harvesting our corn crop and hubby took a load of corn to the ethanol plant down the road this morning. When he gets back we will be in the fields for the rest of the day. Corn is making around 200 bushels an acre while corn prices are low because of the high yeilds. Our soybeans are not quite ready yet but it won't be long. They will make for some high yeilds too. More work for both my hubby and I since we have to do most of the work. Our oldest daughter helped us after she got off work yesterday and both of our daughters help on the weekends but we couldn't do much this past weekend since it decided to rain!

We're still fighting this high voltage transmission line proposed to go through northeast Missouri & OUR FARM! The county commissioners in all five counties have voted against it! The whole thing may end up in court before its resolved one way or the other. More later,
