Bio

As a young girl, my parents would vacation our family on genealogy quests. We would visit relatives, research courthouse records, send out mailings, type out church books, memograph pages to family books, and more. Genealogy is instilled in my blood. I've come to appreciate the lives of my grandparents, grandaunts, granduncles, and cousins; the joys and the hardships. I've seen the records of announcing births, to the celebration of weddings, to the tragedy of death during a war, to the agony of illness, and to the rest of a peaceful death.

I believe that family members should share information and photos that they have about mutual ancestors without hesitation. We don't own our grandparents, ancestors, or their information. I will gladly share information and/or pictures that I have about our mutual ancestors and I hope that you will do the same. I enjoy the kindred spirit of enthusiastic family history conversations and research.

I do not research family records beyond my personal hobby for my family. I do not visit and record bulk grave location information.

As outlined in the Find A Grave guidelines, I do NOT add, 'Non-personal' images include animated GIFS, MIDI files, images of flowers, angels, flags, banners, coats of arms, etc.

As directed in the Find A Grave guidelines, I only add images that are, "... because it is an image that IS PERSONALLY attached to the deceased." If I add "what is meant to be a TEMPORARY image" detailing personal family link information, I will gladly remove the temporary personal family link image once the memorial links and bios are updated. I will typically upload a temporary personal link image when:

> the Contributor's bio details delays,
> I've made a request older than 30 days,
> the Contributor is non-active,
> or I have a bulk to follow-up.

As directed by Find A Grave, I will, "Please allow thirty days from your original request before contacting Find A Grave about the lack of activity."

"Find A Grave memorials should be viewed as works in progress. There is always the potential for someone to send you a correction or additional information. As the manager of the memorial, we hope that YOU WILL BE EXCITED to receive and POST new information as it is presented to you."

You may wish to review the image guidelines in the "Help with Find A Grave" link.

I remember my grade school teacher's etiquette lesson, "Curt comments are unattractive and unnecessary."

Like any hobby, genealogy is suppose to be fun and encouraging. I agree to be kind and respectful to you. I hope that you will do the same to me.
