RE: 119327095 William Curry
Great, thank you! And now I have deleted the 2 burial unknown memorials. Nice to have William linked to his parents, etc!

RE: 119327095 William Curry
Thank you handling those updates for William & Nancy Curry. Please also check the Edits tab on your Contributor page; a new feature Find A Grave rolled out early this year. We don't receive notifications of those type of edits; you can only tell if you have any after you sign in, and if there is a number on YOUR edits tab, on YOUR contributor page.

RE: McCoys in K of P
He's my 2nd cousin twice removed. I'm related on his grandmother Amanda McClain McCoy's side. I never knew him though and you did, so you should keep his memorial. Thanks for offering!

RE: K of P Cemetery, Burnsville, WV
Thank you! I appreciate the response. I know it is quite confusing with K of P and Knights of Pythias because some people don't know they are one in the same. Also the fact that cemeteries have name changed throughout the years.

RE: William Lowther II 107966334
I have never been able to quite figure all that out definitively. Everywhere I look I find the same info duplicated, or MISduplicated, whichever the case may be. I have the Christopher Texas Lowther book somewhere that takes everyone back to England, but there are missing pieces in it because it was done a long time ago. Let me know if I need to fix something.

No connection. Just working on the cemetery listings in general.
I spent a few hours on my last day off taking pictures and have been slowly going through them, uploading the photos, and making corrections and connections.

RE: Linking family
A good genealogist would never go by what is on Find A Grave. A good genealogist would have done enough advance research they would not need to have families connect.

I cannot imagine anyone building a family tree base on where a family is linked on Find A Grave.

I have corrected 100' of memorials where incorrect date were listed or no birth or death date listed on the memorial. I have added dates and place of birth and death to these memorials.

I have found many, many memorials on Find A Grave with incorrect parents listed, incorrect birthdates, incorrect place of birth. I know of lots of memorials on Find A Grave where a Find A Grave member listed someone in a cemetery with a birth and death date and no source for the info not even a stone.

Please reread my statement, what I said is "all memorials don't have to be connect to parents"

God Bless

Dora McNemar
Would you please add some information to Memorial #112756503. Her maiden name was Radabough and she was the daughter of Abram and Sarah Radabough. She married Philip Edwin McNemar on 11/19/1905 in Lewis County, West Virginia. I believe she was the third wife of Philip.

Nearly all the Sharons I know were born in the later 1940's (there were 6 in my gym class :) :)

Guess we're in good company? :) :)

RE: Friendship/Fairview/IOOF cemetery
Yep, HCPD confirmed both points.
Since you already posted on the forums, I won't do so.
Do you know how long on average the wait would be for those to be merged?
I'm just not looking forward to figuring out which ones I duplicated. *grin* I'm hoping it's not too many... oh well, c'est la vie.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I hadn't even thought about looking for the cemetery under the other names.

Friendship/Fairview/IOOF cemetery

I'm almost positive that these are different names for the same cemetery.
I'm going to confirm this with Hackers Creek Settlers genealogy society.
I've got a log in on the forums, now, so I can try to get them merged.

Hi Toots,

You can find all the available Texas death records (up to 1986) at:

You can pull up the indexed information, but if you want to see the digital image of the actual death record, you must create a password at

I created my password years ago, and I've never been asked for anything further (donations, etc.)

There is a world of information at this website.

Best of luck -- and enjoy your search!

I see the problem. Two death certificates were issued. One for Sarah Batten and one for Sarrah Batton.*&FirstName=&County=Lewis&Year=1926&PlusMinus=Exact&Search=Like&NumRec=25
Thank you for clearing that up. I deleted the one for Sarrah Batton.
