RE: Olive Lee Daly 143595686
Do you have much info on Olive Lee she was married to my great Uncle Harry C. Smith and after his death she married a Daly. I have traced her line on the Berry side back to 1768. I wondered if you had any info when she was married to Harry C. Smith. Harry was a oil well driller from Penna.

Eric White
Hicks Family
I was going thru a box in my garage and found a photo that apparently belonged to my grandmother's aunt Merta Clara (Bailey) Lewis who was born in 1896. One of the pictures had a name on the back of McKinley Hicks. I researched and saw he lived in Nicholas County in 1917 to register for WWII and on the draft card it says employer Thomas F Hicks. I am guessing this would be a grandchild of Thomas. Do you know who McKinley Hicks is and are you related to him? If so I will email picture to you and you can also have it if you want.

You are correct. She was left in Job's Will because she never married. And I saw her in the census...Sarah E Stout.
The Sarah that was my gg grandmother's family is still a mystery! Thanks for pointing this mistake out.

RE: 127476686 Sarah Stout Prunty
This news is hard to believe because Sarah was my great grandmother and many others have them as her parents in their trees. However, I removed them until I can find proof.

When I went to that memorial, both photos were displayed. However, I did remove the marker photo that I had originally entered because the other two were newer and better quality. I also changed the order so that the older photo is at the top.

The Mt Nebo church is a short distance away but the signage now is Kniceley Cemetery. Most burials are Kniceleys.

James Berry tombstone
I made a trip to Jamesport memorial Cemetery Aug 2 to try and locate the three photo requests listed and didn't find any of the three. I covered the entire cemetery without success. It may be there, but I could not find it. I'll leave it open so hopefully someone else might find it.

Hello, I wanted to let you know that I just checked to see if the duplicate memorial for John Stout had been removed. Evidently the request to delete it had been accepted -- it no longer exists.

Thanks, Margaret

Since I did not create the memorial, I could not delete it myself. I submitted a request to do so but it has not gone through yet.

Thanks for bringing the duplication (which I did not know existed) to my attention. Since a link with his daughter, Helena was posted by Find A Grave member, Brett (#46887842), I will contact him and ask him to transfer the link to the original memorial. When that is done, I will remove mine. (Didn't want to lose the link by deleting my memorial first).

RE: Sarah Ann Hardman Myers108675528
No I am not a relative....Sarah Ann Hardman Myers does not show up in the Hardman Index because you put Hardman in the box of Nickname.....if you want her to show up in the Index....of Hardman.....you may want to put Hardman in the box where is says Maiden Name.

I do 100s of edits a day from obituaries at the ohio Genealogical Society so I really can't help without knowing the name of the person the original edit was submitted for.

RE: David Ellsworth
Hello Cousin Toots,

Be okay to transfer David Ellsworth to me. Thanks.

Question: Are you aware of the most colorful life of David and Sarah's son, Peter Henry Ellsworth? In 1944 their daughter, Nevada Jane, was interviewed by the Oakland Tribune, but died prior to the article being printed. This was in the Tribune on July 2, 1944 - "A Real Pioneer -- Nevada Jane Elgin" It give the account how she was named and the most interesting account of her family, life along the trail to California and life after settling in CA and so on.

Then two different grandchildren in letters wrote of their grandfather, Peter, freighting along the Santa Fe Trail from a young age. When gold was discovered in CA being the captain of wagon trains west. Then in later years took his own family to CA.

If you have never seen these accounts, I will be happy to send copies to you. Would have to be by snail mail tho as I have problems being able to send as email attachments. Just let me know.
Your Cousin, Louise

RE: David Ellsworth
Hi Toots,
Thank you for adding the info to David's bio. This is most appreciated.

David's parents are my 4th great grandparents, so guess that would make David my 4th great uncle. My maternal grandmother was an Ellsworth.

Again thanks for all. Louise

Actually, the other memorial for Walter has the incorrect name for the cemetery. I will delete mine and the contributor of the other memorial should correct the cemetery name.
