You're welcome (for all the thank you messages). All of Section One is open now but there is still work in progress to prepare new sections of the cemetery for future burials.

I just posted pictures of John & Laverne Miller's headstones. I thought you had requested them and all of a sudden the requests were no longer there, but I had already taken the pictures. I searched that entire section--so I went ahead and posted the pictures! You can delete them if you want! :) Karen

|William N. Barron||William Henry Scroggins... My relationship|
Thank you for contacting me, it is good to connect with another Cousin. William Henry is my Great Granduncle, his brother James Richard is my Great Grandfather. I have attach a photo of him for your records. Do you have a family photo of your William Henry you would be willing to share?
I recently received from another new cousin I met online, a photo of our Marlin David Scroggins (my Great Great Grandfather) setting with his family. Unfortunately, the photo is not in the best of condition. Hopefully, you may have a copy of the Marlin Family photo that you would be willing to email me. Another question, I have is do you have any old Scroggins photos or photos of their allied families that you are willing to scan and email me? I am trying to build a Scroggins and allied family photo album.
Are you doing or have done any genealogy research on the Scroggins and allied family. I have been trying off and on to locate more information on the family of MARLIN DAVID Scroggins / SOPHIA "Sopha" JANE HARMENING / HARMONING. I would be very interested in seeing your family tree that you put together.
I am at a lost as to who the father is of Sophia Jane Harmening, (wife of Marlin David) I know her mother's first name is Emily, but not her maiden. If you can help I would appreciate it very much.
I find it very difficult at times to discover anything at all about the wives side of the family, so any information on the wives of the Scroggins' / allied family members would be appreciated.

Put your request back in for Jerry at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. I merely added a section photo and didn't realize it would take out your request. Once the wreaths are picked up, I'll be back out there to photograph again. I've got a really long list of pictures to get! Section 1 was still restricted access last time I was there.

Still no access to Section 1. However, it appears that the workers might be getting close to the end of the section for resetting the stones and the ground closer to the front of the section is being prepped for irrigation and new sod. Those are my thoughts on the progress :-)
