I became interested in Find A Grave when I was looking for information about a friend's son that died many years ago. To my surprise Find A Grave came up with his headstone. After telling my friend about this way of memorializing her son, she gave me a photograph to upload. Of course I had to become a member to add it, so I did. After browsing through the site I realized the value, added some ancestor's graves that I had wanted to see for years and requested photos. I was overjoyed when Laurie LaPage fulfilled my request. I am hoping that this tool will help me to find some missing ancestors, memorialize those that I find and allow me to help others find clues to their ancestors.
