|Bio and Links|
I was born in 1981 near Leipzig, Germany and still live there with my mother. |
In 2014 I've FINALLY finished my second cemetery (75 graves and it took only 5 years to add them all)
So go and leave some flowers. Bergfriedhof Mölkau
It would be very nice of you if you would leave some flowers for my other interments as well.
*Now on to the important things*
Public messages: If you ask me something or send me a S.A.C. and there is the possibility that I write something back (like when you ask: What do you think?) It would be totally amazing if you have your public messages enabled... or a working email address.
Photos: All grave photos taken and posted by me may not be used by you without my permission. Ask, and I probably grant it, but please do not steal them and re-post them somewhere.
Linking family members:
I will not link to memorials where the place of burial is unknown.
Find out where they are buried and then contact me. This is 'Find A Grave' after all.
Naming Conventions: Famous Memorials (which in my case concerns mostly nobles that could be famous if I moved my ass and wrote a proper bio)
A short German-English lesson:
Ehemann - husband
Ehefrau - wife
Gattin - wife
Gattin von - wife of
Liebling - darling
Mutter - mother
Sohn / Söhnchen - son / baby son
Schwester - Sister
seine - his
Tochter/Töchterlein - daughter/baby daughter
unser/unsre - our
Vater/Papa - Father
Mutter/Mama - Mother
Two words in Czech
Rozena/Rozen - born
Rodina - family
Disclaimer: (because, apparently I need one)
If I send you a S.A.C. which sounds insulting, assume that it was not my intention. I still have problems with the English language and sometimes just don't come across the way I want.
When you call me a liar to the whole community, be prepared to be ridiculed in front of said community.... and of course, when an Admin deletes a memorial you will no longer see it. xxx
For everyone who actually read through this, thank you for your attention.
For those who didn't, I completely understand you, but it is tiresome to explain every week why I've send this or that correction.

|Anne Shurtleff Stevens||Ramon Berenguer edit|
I have noticed that when we decline edits, the system does not send you the reason detail. I declined the name change for Ramon's last name to "of Barcelona" because that would place him alphabetically in the o's. I did add it to the beginning of his bio.

very interesting what you sent me via edit, thank you! I've now done some research on this too and am convinced that the birth date 1748 given for their daughter Charlotte Wilhelmine or Wilhelmine Charlotte by a researcher at this cemetery is wrong, and it's gone from the stone. I found a source where she and August Ulrich von Hardenberg married in 1743, in an old book about the Hardenbergs, so she was born maybe around 1718.
Thanks for your help!
Best regards, Bob

thank you for the transfer - and for doing the work in the first place!
one of Charles' nieces is still alive and knew where he had died; thanks to your work we were able to confirm it and to know where he lies. Much, much appreciated.

|Ralph H. and Hilda Sayre, Upshur-WV-USA||REQUEST|
Hello from Hilda in West Virginia again.
This time I am asking for a favor and will not be angry if you refuse. My husband was once stationed in Germany. He had a good friend there. If I gave you the name, address and family info would it be possible you have a way to provide me the grave information to do a findagrave site for him? If you want to charge for this that would be okay. Hilda
|Ralph H. and Hilda Sayre, Upshur-WV-USA||RE: Possible Duplication|
I will go back and read them. But I noted that the father had THREE sons of the same name linked to him. Sorry I bothered you. Hilda

I am contacting you to ask you to check the following sites for duplication.
Thank you for being in findagrave.

|Bearded Graver||Wiesbaden Süd|
I’ve been using the new process of loading photos and having others transcribe, maybe someday I’ll get caught up on the back log. Umlauts and things like that are not something English speaking people are familiar with so I am glad you sent the SAC’s with corrections. I had planned to go back and correct but you save me the trouble, THANKS. Now all I have to do is get the other 4,000K photos in Wiesbaden Süd loaded.
|idog||RE: Richmond A New York 1870|
I thought you knew the family and that was why you sent the edit. The 'Ireland' is because they came from Ireland, not the surname. I did look around and will check some more next time too.
