I feel myself dejected now
Forsaken and alone.
And I wish I had a plenty left
That I could call my own.
My troubles come rollin on
Like billows over the deep.
I often sigh and walk alone
And sit me down and weep.
But God is good
His ways I cannot scan.
He certainly knows what is best
For me, poor, old and feeble man.

Composed when aged and infirmed.
Samuel B. Younglove Sept 1893

No problem. I will send you more as I continue to work on the genealogy for these families. I am just so glad that you are willing to put the info on them as I find it. Some people on here aren't always so nice. If you ever have anyone that you have a question on, let me know and I will see what I can find out. Thanks again for making these corrections and links. I really appreciate all that you do on FindAGrave.
Take care,
Joy

RE: Azariah Younglove
Here you are Grace, this is something that is easy to copy and paste into the bio section of his memorial. (If you want to view the original newspaper pages that I sent you links to, you simply need to 'copy and paste' the link(s) into a new 'browser window' at the top of the screen).

From The Naples Record, Friday 2 September 1881
Died, at his home in Vine Valley, August 27th, 1881, of inflammation of the kidneys, Mr. A. C. Younglove. His remains were taken to Clifton Springs for interment.

We are pained to record the death of A. C. Younglove, of Vine Valley, which occurred August 27thm after a short illness. Mr. Younglove was well known here as an intelligent enthusiast in fruit culture, progressive, and sensible, and a genial friend and companion. He will be greatly missed, not only in his own neighborhood, but throughout this entire vicinity. We extend our sympathy to Mrs. Younglove, who is now left heartbroken and alone.

RE: Luise Schultz
Thank-you, it confirms the initials of her parents names. Can you tell me what the source information is, from cemetery records or death cert., maybe? I believe you manage her sister Reka's memorial too. Any chance there is a similar entry for her? Or evidence of her headstone next to Luise's? They would be great-grand aunts. Their brother, Albert Schultz, married Elsa/Elsie Hippe. Her brother, Albert Hippe (great-grand uncle on the other side), was a witness at her wedding 2 years prior to his death. Thanks again, I really appreciate all the work you and others have done to record these, and many other memorials!

Thank you for the transfer.

I have a Rathbun Rathburn Rathbone data base of over 118,000 individuals. It does drive me to insanity at times with the spelling.

RE: 136544948
You are not dense!!

Charles is listed as Rathbone in 1850.

Charles is listed as Rathbun in 1880.

Charles S. Rathbun had three wives.

Two children by his second wife carry the surname Rathbun.

Why the confusion? Rathbone Rathburn and Rathbun are all from one family. Different spellings for many different reasons. I have seen cemetery gravestones with a Rathbun man buried next to his Rathburn wife.

My great great grandfather was born William S. Rathbone, married at William S. Rathburn and died as Williams S. Rathbun. (not to mention his middle name spelled differently over the years)

Just in my line of Wait Rathbone, Sr........his son Wait Rathbone, Jr.'s line are now all Rathbuns while the descendants of his other son, William Palmer Rathbone, are all Rathbones.

We do know Rathborne is not from any of our line!!

I hope this explains.............Rob Rathbun
