Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am now a ninety year old mother, grandmother, gr-grandmother, and recently a gr-gr-grandmother. On my 80th birthday my grandkids were ask to share what they remember about grandma. Because I realized they didn't know much about their ancestors, I decided to write down what I remembered of the stories that were told to me as I was growing up. That lead me to contact the Sequoia Genealogical Society.

Volunteers taught me how to find more than 100 years of local family history from the Tulare City Libraries Genealogical Collection.

One volunteer, a retired school teacher taught me, fourth grade style, how to search the Internet on the computer. That year my daughter and grand children gave me a computer for Christmas, and I was off and flying and now I added Find a Grave to my activities.

When you visit one of my memorials please leave a flower. I appreciate it when you say what relation, if any, to a person.

Because of my age I would like to transfer some of my memorials. For many of them, I am not a direct descendant, and I prefer to transfer to direct descendants. There are a few occasions where I will make an exception. I will not make any transfers unless you leave a flower and a note.

I Remember When
OOPS!
I seen you have put a photo request for Jacob Jasper Reynolds that I had listed in Park Cemetery in Carthage. I apologize that I misread the death certificate and when I looked at it again, it was Reeds Cemetery, not Park. I have sent the obituary I had added to the page to that contributor and hopefully she'll add it. Click here for a link to that page. It has a photo of the gravestone.
Kind regards,
Nancy

James Wilson
Thomas Davis at Smith Cemetery
in Skidmore MO.

You sent me an edit to add his year of birth as 1813. However, his marker says he died in 1851 at the age of 11 years? I processed the edit, but this hardly seems right. Could the 'young' Thomas Davis who died in 1851 be the son of a Thomas Davis whose grave is unmarked? There are a lot of burials in this cemetery marked with only field stones. ??

Thanks for all you do at Find-A-Grave,

Jim

RE: Louise Bruenederman Find A Grave Memorial# 134327469
Sikeston sits in two counties, Scott and New Mardrid. But Shuffitt's nursing home is in Scott County, so you did good.

Louise Bruenederman
I believe you have everything right about Louise Margaret Bruenderman, except the birth and death dates.
According to her death certificate, she was the daughter of Charles Renaud and Mary Niehouse, married to B. J. Bruenderman. But born in Perry Co., MO on Sept. 9, 1888 and died in Sikeston, MO on Dec. 17, 1961.
I started not to add the photo since the dates were wrong, I thought maybe this Louise was a first wife until I did some checking.

Rudes Family Tree - J & S
My 22nd great grandfather
Your study of this era and how my family is descended from the Fitz Alans is a great source of much more detail than I had at hand before today (September 19, 2014)
Thank you so much!
Jeri Rudes Wilcox (sister of Sally Rudes Chennell) - my husband and her husband's share many ancestors in common with us. What fun we're having figuring that out!
