Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in genealogy began as a child. We spent a lot of time with my Grandmother who maintained the cemetery plot that her son & parents were buried in. It is a rather large cemetery with several old graves with unreadable headstones. I've always wondered who they were, what they did, etc. So much history in graveyards certainly not to be feared like they show in horror films! Every month I usually list the birthdays for the people I have included in my virtual cemetery list. If you would be so kind as to drop by and leave a flower that would be wonderful and very much appreciated! God bless!

If I have added a picture or anything that you would like to have me remove, please send me a private message. Sometimes I go to cemeteries and leave a token for someone who I don't know its not always a relative.

Massey's at Bethel Meriwether
#131683365, do know about Bernice and Burnice Massey? Someone asked me if Bernice Spivey Massey was a Spivey or maybe her mom was one. Any help is appreciated, I'm not that familiar with these people.

The picture that you have posted. Can you do me a favor and identify them by full name and tell me where the picture was taken?

I am trying to add names to my tree and need full names, spouses and married names, etc.

Thanks much!!

Parents of James Abraham Barber--Barber/Walton
In reference to Mary Elizabeth Barber Strickland, Find A Grave# 13862920 b. Oct. 22, 1822 d. Apr. 3, 1898. and her brother James Abraham Barber Find A Grave# 50020661. and brother William W Barber Find A Grave#50020537

I have them as William Barber (Barbour) and Mary Polly Walton.

BUT, I have hit a dead end here.I cannot find William or Mary - where are they, who are they marriage date, birth, death, anything.

Do you know anything, any hint or family rumor will help me start.

Hi Cheryll,

I just found out today that my childhood friend passed away 28 years ago. I had been searching for her for years and was able to finally reach her sister on Facebook.

Noticed that you left her some flowers, wondered if you are related to her or were you a friend of hers as well?

Thank you,

I too love cemeteries....
and have been doing family research for several years now. Cheryll, are you grand daughter to Gertrude Breckenridge? My great grand father, William Henry Stewart, was husband of James' mother, Sarah. Sarah was 3rd wife of Wm Henry.
So, the Breckenridges are step related to me.

I live in NW Montana. I walk a local cemetery almost every day. Peaceful place. I've spent quite a bit of time on Find A Grave while doing family research. I love the information it gives.

If you are Gertrude's grand daughter, do you have pictures of James, Gertrude and Raymond's tombstones?
