|Mildred Brady Venitucci||Ann Mariah Wickham Ellerbee Henagan|
Gov. Barnabas Kelet (never saw the other spelling) Henagan, Ann's 2nd husband, was the brother of my gg grandmother, Mary Cival or Civil Henagan, who married my gg grandfather, Benjamin F. Bridges.
My gg aunt was one of the 13 children of Benjamin and Mary Henagan Bridges. In 1921 or 22, on the occasion of her 92nd birthday, she was interviewed in Little Rock, Arkansas (the Bridges/Henagan family had migrated there from SC/GA in the 1840s)
by a reporter with both the ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT and ARKANSAS GAZETTE newspapers. She was born in 1831, approximately, in Hall County, GA, where they moved after leaving Marion Co., SC. I found both picture and text at the Arkansas History Commission behind the capitol building in Little Rock. She stated that her mother was the daughter of Darby Henagan and Druscilla Sweeney. Please share this with anyone you know who might be researching these SC families: HENAGAN SWEENEY BRIDGES STUBBS CONNER BETHEA.
