This site and its volunteers have been very very helpfull. I like to look at old tombstones and have transcribed and photographed several cemeteries and placed them on this site. I plan to do several others in this area. I think that we should try to remember those who have passed and this site is a great place for that.
Since this site is far family history,
Here is my online family tree.
Ancestors of Timothy A. Bear
I also have some genealogy groups on yahoo. Here are a few of them.
We are always looking far knew members and information as well as old family pictures.

I see where a Todd says he can not find several graves to take pictures of for you and I wonder if it might be wise to cancel and resubmit and see if someone else could find as they are not that old.

I can't even say thank you enough for the picture of George Hoover's grave (Old Spanish Fort Cemetery) Memorial# 10657179. Please know that your efforts are very much appreciated!

Hi Tim, Thanks for all your hard work on find a grave. Would you be kind enough to remove your photo of the funeral home placard, it has maxed out the maximum number of photos on my mothers Memorial# 123776042 and I would like to replace it with a photo of the headstone that is now in place. Thanks so much. Scott

Due to the placement of headstone of Etha & Allen the death year was so close to ground it was hard to get a good picture.I hope you were able to see them.
Your very welcome

Yes, it would have been nice to have had the pleasure to learn more about the BOWENS, CABLES, and TOLANDS. I have had to dig for years to fill in gaps on this line. My father passed away and I was unable to learn much about his side of the family. My only clue was my baby book which had a family tree in it. Each of my parents wrote what they knew. My father wrote that my Great Grandmother was IDA E. BOWEN. Through pure research I found IDA and my Great Grandfather along with a story that she had died in a fire while pregnant with their second child. I have been unable to find where she is buried. The BOWENS, CABLES, AND TOLANDS that left Humphreys County, TN to migrate to Texas in the late 1880'S went back and forth between TX and OK and many migrated to CA.
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication in preserving the cemetery records for all of the loved ones that have passed on!

Thanks, Tim for the note!
I'm related to the Bowens on paternal side. My line is IDA E. BOWEN, daughter of VICTORIA TOLAND & ROBERT RICHARD BOWEN, son of NANCY JANE MEADOW & WILLIAM REECE BOWEN.
ROBERT RICHARD BOWEN and his brother JACOB REECE BOWEN moved with their families to Montegue County, TX in the late 1880'S.
IDA E. BOWEN was my Great Grandmother.
