Hello Ron, I entered some edits for Sarah J. Wilson # 71694565. I have not located her Husband, David C. Wilson, in Woodlawn cem. or any other cemetery. I have the family bible info that was handed down to my great Uncle. They read:
-Sarah Jane Walker daughter of John and Talitha Walker was born September 9th 1822
-David C. Wilson and Sarah J. Walker were married May 24th 1843
-Sarah Jane Wilson the wife of David C. Wilson departed this life on the 29th day of August AD 1880 in the 58th year of her age
-David C. Wilson died Febuary 28/89 aged 72 years 6months & 6 days
I also manage her father's memorial, John Walker, and would appreciate if you link her to him. (Memorial# 5645009)
I also have a picture of Sarah if you wouldn't mind me adding it to her memorial.
Thanks for your consideration into this and for all the work you have done. I hope to one day contribute as much as you have.

I am not related to Miss Givens. She was an old maid school teacher who taught here at Creighton for twenty years or more.

I am great niece of Greenberry Austin, brother-in-law of James A. Hendricks buried at Forestvale Cemetery in Helena, MT. I noticed that you provided info on Hendricks, and thought you might like info on Greenberry Austin also. He was a Quantrill man, as some other family members. They were from Oak Grove, MO and farmed just outside of Oak Grove, father Joseph Austin was a Confederate and rode under Shelby and I believe in Shanks Division. All of my Austin family were in Co. C, and this was mis-printed on the headstone I had placed on Greenberry's grave at Forestvale. The Confederate Veterans did all the work, once I discovered that he had no headstone.
But even though it says Co. D, knowing that it really was Co. C, and that he finally has a headstone, it seems immaterial. They were kin to William Gregg, Quantrill's captain, and by their wives relationship, were brothers-in-law. They both moved to Helena, MT and died there. I wonder how many other MO Confederates moved to MT during the post-war era? A few, like the Berry brother, and others, I am sure.
You live in Independence, and I live at Lone Jack, so surely we have met. I am a member of the Quantrill Society and both Oak Grove and Lone Jack Historical Societies. If you know of others that might be interesting, please let me know.
Lone Jack, MO
