Thank you so much for the photo of my great aunt's grave marker! Do you recall what section she is in?

God bless.

RE: St. John's cemetery
I talked with them and they don't have a map or section New C, for whatever reason we couldn't find it there. That's why I talked with Calvary and they have some records.

I also forgot to let you know I did add some "Unknowns" so double check those against any photos you have.

I am working on a spread sheet, so I am trying hard to add the section and and get a better idea of working on those stones not readable. Some times if you can find the stones next to it have an obit they might give you a clue to who is buried next to them. Like an infant or sister in law or grandparent.

RE: St. John's cemetery
I had to go back at different times of the day some times to try and get different variations of pictures for some stones. A lot are so hard to read that all I can do is go through old newspapers to try and find possible obits or death certs.

It's slow going but I have been able to get quite a few people added or corrected. There are so many of those metal crosses and don't have a clue who they are.

I am trying to get the sections listed so that it helps to document the cemetery better especially section New C. I have spoken with Calvary cemetery about New C and I might have to go back and see if they can find some more info about that specific section.

St. John's cemetery
Hi, I see you are adding photos as well for St. John's (Blair co.).

I have been adding photos to that cemetery and trying to go through the papers to get better information for graves with washed out names.

I have come across a lot of "Crosses" there that I have no way of figuring out who they were. That and other washed away stones have been a big problem with that cemetery.

When you add your pictures or new memorials can you please add the section as well so we can document this cemetery better. Also please don't add more of the same photos to the memorials. Sometimes there are better pictures, but sometimes it's just duplicating a photo already there.

So, glad to get help with this cemetery though! :)

Have a great day!!

Calvary
Nice meeting you today. Could you tell me again what sections you photographed so I don't duplicate. That would be a waste of my time. I probably have 2000 pictures to enter for sections M, L, and the front Mausoleums. Thanks
