As I'm sending a number of you changes* for your pages, additions, etc., please know that I do thank you even if I don't send each of you a thank you - THANKS to you all. (*The changes I'm finding are in the "Variety Obituaries" series of books.)

* A note from Find a Grave: Tony's book is highly recommended. Wonderfully detailed and accurate. I've been using it for years...and it's been updated by the author regularly!

Thank you so much for all the photos for my Murphy family. It's really nice that kind people like you are willing to help others fill in their family trees with visible documentation of their existence :-)

I noticed on John and Theresa's memorial page, you had down that there was an article in the LA times dated 31 May 1894 for John. For the life of me, I cannot find it. Do you have a copy of it? If so I would be absolutely happy to give you my email address. Thank you again for all you do for all of us still searching our roots!!

Roger Dean Joy-Evergreen Cemetery
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to be a photo volunteer. It is really appreciated. I just wanted to give you an update. I actually went to the cemetery on Saturday unexpectedly. One of Roger's triplet brothers is also interred there. He doesn't have a headstone and we want to get him one. I knew Roger had one because I've seen it, although not recently. Took us forever to figure out where he was and it was so confusing because there was no marker. My husband and cousin were beginning to think I was was I for that matter. Finally decided to use my keys to dig down to see if I hit anything. Eureka! Spent about 30 minutes digging and 20 minutes scrubbing, but there was the headstone buried under 3 inches of clay dirt. I have no idea how long it's been covered. I haven't been there in more than 10 years. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I really am grateful.

You found them! My goodness, you are fast.

What an incredibly rustic looking and fascinating marker it is; and it's held up so nicely over the past 112 years. I can't wait to show this to the other family members.

Thank you very much for your gracious and generous contributions of time and talent to our family and the Find-A-Grave community. 803 volunteer photos is an incredible accomplishment!
