|Fredionia||RE: Justine Beliel|
I went ahead and reported Franks grave as unmarked also. I have looked at the stated plot a few times now and neither of them have stones there.
Burial Date 3/17/1906 Per the book at the cemetery gate.
The location I show is
D-E, B-7, L-40 Mrs Frank
So not sure she has a stone, but the cemetery records show her there.
Who told you she wasn't?

I found one Sowokinos at this cemetery: Mike Sowokinos 1885-1957. There was no other name on that stone. Sorry but I don't have advice for you regarding other cemeteries in the area. I used to live in Ogallala and happened to be visiting family over memorial weekend. I did add Sophie Krajewski's photo when I added John's. Good luck with your search.
I assume that memorial 101566170 is a total mistake and should be deleted in favor of 143566662. I am holding your edits until you confirm. CPR is in failing health and I am trying to keep up with his edits

You are welcome. I have been looking for Frank and his wife for a while, in Elm Grove but so far have not been able to find stones. I removed the request for the wife because she is not listed in the cemetery record book, and is also not listed in the burial permit book. Frank is listed in the cemetery book, but has no stone in the stated plot. Hopefully I will get to talk to the cemetery office to see if he knows of a stone. There are other Beliels in that cemetery and are also listed in Woodlawn Cemetery, which is taken care of by the same people. I am wondering if the wife may have been buried at Woodlawn and not Elm Grove.

I'm sorry I do not live near the cemetery. I notice that she died young. He probably remarried. Have you found him in the 1900, 1910, etc. census?

I don't your email address so I sent them to Linda Currie with an admission that I no longer have the source citations (probably from a public domain source). Cheers.
|MrsB||Thank you for the reply--I actually had seen the shortened forms of the obits for Helen|
I appreciate your follow-up--with the Greater Omaha Genealogical Society, I did see the Catholic Voice and the OWH reference (though I couldn't see the actual obits). Many times obits will indeed say the birth/death places, and that is why I am willing to source and use obits in the bios. But I have also seen obits that mention that so and so died while visiting relatives in another state, and the body was shipped back to Omaha or Blair for burial. The Genealogical Society has abbreviated obits: maybe age, certainly date of publication, maybe spouse, and does not ever have place of birth or place of death. I do not have direct access to complete obits for Omaha, unless they happen to have some connection to Washington County, and unless somebody in Washington County has actually transcribed them. As a volunteer, I don't have $ for death certificates or birth certificates. If you ever do have obits, I am happy to use them in the bio. I did accept parts of the Edits, and credited you--thank you again!

|MrsB||Helen Richards Edits|
I really appreciate the Edits for Helen, and see from the obituaries for her parents that she is their daughter. However, how do you know where she was born and where she died? I look forward to hearing from you!
