I enjoy locating "lost" cemeteries and doing complete surveys of them and other local cemeteries. I add as many photos as I possibly can as time permits or whenever I see a photo request. But first I add the person's name and dates so you know where your ancestor is buried. I tend to get involved in the people buried in the cemeteries and try to use my genealogy skills of over 30 years to link those buried to their loved ones. This is done to make it easier for researchers to locate family members.|
I DO NOT TAKE A PERSON'S WORD FOR ANY EDIT INFORMATION. I RESEARCH FOR MYSELF AND THEN WILL ADD OR CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE FACTS. TOO MANY PEOPLE SEND ME "FACTS" THAT ARE FALSE.
I am happy to transfer your family and friends to you, as long as they aren't mine too. DO give me a REASON to transfer to you though! I AM A CARETAKER WHO IS ONLY WAITING FOR A FAMILY MEMBER TO CLAIM THEIR LOVED ONE. I am not here to build numbers. These graves belong to those who loved them, even if they never met in life.
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!!
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown or a person from an incorrect cemetery into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. It is not fair that I spend my time, my gas, my $, hunt down owners of the properties, bee stings, ticks, poison ivy, and even risk to my life (bull in the pasture, scary men, and electrified fence-no snakes so far) to photo gravestones only later to find that an armchair F-A-Ger has placed a name in either an incorrect cemetery or has a burial unknown, finds I have actually found-the-grave, moves theirs to the correct cemetery and then expects me to delete my entry. I WILL TRANSFER my submissions after the incorrect entry is deleted. This way both get credit and the person who makes the incorrect entry still has a memorial they maintain. I feel this is more than fair. This is in accordance with FAG rules! I refer you to Find A Grave rules: "In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location". Thanks for listening to my venting!

|Ralph Franks||Nelta Lemon Update|
Thank you so much for providing me the updates on Nelta's memorial. I am the historian for her family, but I am in Tennessee and can use all the correct help I can get. I read your bio and was greatly impressed with your Find A Grave work ethics and found that yours followed the same thinking as mine. I did pick up a couple of points from yours that I will add to mine. Thank You

No, this isn't the right one. He was known as Johnnie and his middle name is Jacob. He was the son of Haden and Nota Walker. Another cousin told me he was in Sunset, I'll call tomorrow and get his plot location.
Thanks for your help.

Do you by any chance show a Johnnie Jacob Walker being buried in Sunset that you haven't built a memorial for yet? He is my cousin and another one of my cousins told me he was buried in the oldest cemetery on Harper Rd. by the turnpike exit. Is that Sunset? He also said it was by Holiday Inn but isn't Holiday Inn on the other side of the bridge?

I was wondering if you could possible get a picture of my grandfathers headstone. I never had the chance to meet him but have heard some awesome stories about him. Thanks Rebecca
|J.W. ||Prince Vass|
You have a lot of great content. You have the cemetery of my G.Great Grandfather Linus Toney listed. You have his son in law listed as Prince Vass. This is actually William Price "Price" Vass. You also have the cemetery of his father John Anderson Vass (the Woods cemetery). Are you related?
