I love going through cemeteries old and new. |
To me they are a place of beauty. The artistic style and beauty of many of the older grave markers, shows the true skill of the craftsman.
I am interested in genealogy. I love finding lost relatives. I am willing to help find lost loved ones in the SE Indiana area, and take photos if I can.
My family lines that I am actively researching:
Frantz Family Kith and Kin
I am directly related to the brothers Christian, Michael and Balsar (Balthasar) Frantz from Switzerland.
Both Michael and Christian are my 7G grandfathers
Swartz Family Kith and Kin
Ulrey Family Kith and Kin
Snell Family Kith and Kin
Fitzgerald Family Kith and Kin
Scharf Family Kith and Kin
Heath Family Kith and Kin
Halliday Family Kith and Kin
Page Family Kith and Kin
and many more branches yet to be discovered
I will transfer memorials upon request following the FAG guidelines.

|Jennifer Carter Bohannon||Ella Gertrude Snell Handy|
I received a message from you a long while back asking if I had more info on this Ella Snell Handy. I do! It is on ancestry.com. I have an obituary and some other records on her. I will send you an invite to my tree so you can put in her name and look for yourself.

Thanks so much, Donald! I didn't really mean to "claim" them - I was just excited to be in the cemetery where my cousins are buried. I really do appreciate your taking the time to do that!
I look forward to seeing you again - either here or there!

It was great to meet you this weekend, and thanks so much for your help! If you run across any Fithens, Fithians, Brinks or Pauluses, they're probably my relatives. If I can help you somehow, please let me know :)

|Dorthy Kilgore Pugh Casten||Frantz|
I am researching my husband's family. His mother was Ruth Barrett Casten, daughter of Samuel Borethsky (known as Barrett) and wife Bessie Frantz. Recent discoveries lead us to believe she is the daughter of Riley Frantz (1815-1879) and his wife Mary Bechtel (1818-1897).
Riley was the son of Isaac Frantz and his wife Amanda Crouse. Isaac was the son of Matthias Frantz and Elizabeth Bashore. Matthias was the son of Christian Frantz III and Anna Moyer.
Thus far I've found no proof that our Bessie Frantz is connected, just hunches based on name/place. If you can give any input it will certainly be appreciated.
Thank you so very much.

Apparently we're related, because, these are my G-G-G grandparents. Can you let me know how you're related - just curious. My father's side of the family is also buried at Spring Creek, 'Stafford'. Please keep in touch, I'm considering, even though I too am related.

I'm glad you're happy with the photo of Wilhelm's grave marker. I'm not related, but one of my motives for doing this is to help preserve as much as possible the old German inscriptions in the cemeteries in Northern Kentucky.

Just posted a photo taken today for Mr Page in Dale cemetery, Connerville, IN. Hope you like it!
