My sister and I have been doing genealogy for years and love doing it. We grew up in a family owned Funeral Home. What an experience! I guess that is why I love going to cemeteries!|
I think Find A Grave is a great site to honor those who have gone before and for those searching their roots.
Most of my memorials are family but as I take pictures there will be more I am not related to. I am happy to transfer to family through the edit button by giving your member number.
I also am happy to share any pictures I have placed on Find A Grave. I would like to be given credit for them if you place them on another site.
I do follow Find A Grave policy and only place facts on the memorial of those I do not know.If you would like to add to a memorial please send the info through the edit button.
Families my sister and I research: Curtis, Wyant, Bass, Long, Pirkle, Casey, Chanley, Main, McGlasson, Myers, Corn, Reed, McCandless, McCoy.

Hello Terenda, thank you for posting a photo of Mary (Davis) Botts headstone. Her father Henry Davis is my 3x great grandfather. She was his first born from his first marriage.

Hello Terenda, my name is Debbie and I am contacting you as it relates to a distant great uncle Walter Andrew Cowen. He died 12/27/1936 and is buried in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery. Thank you for all the work that you do for all of us who are searching for our loved ones all around the world. I was wondering how would I go about searching for a possible obituary for Walter A. Cowen? As you know those obits can be very rich with lots of important nuggets. Please let me know, my email address is: email@example.com. Thanks so much for all that you do Terenda.
|Liz Willnow ||Re: Richard Hylla's grave|
Hello. My mother was Norma France's Haynes. I notice you have her down as the wife of Richard Hylla! She was married to Clarwnce Hylla but when I look down father I see 2 marriage certificates for her and 1 divorce certificate. Was she marries to Richard and divorced him and married my dad? Do you know or were just guessing? There was always something fishy about when and where they got married. Please reply.

Thank you for posting Mr. Illinois Jackson grave. it means a lot to me. Next time I am in area I will go through some things at my parent's home to see if there are any photos to add.

I didn't know what to do other than that since so many agencies spelled it BARNs instead of BARNES like the family does....Thanks, again.

Thanks for the offer of transfer, but I don't think we're related. I'm interested in all Goldens now that I've done about as much as I can on my own family.
