|I am now obsessed with this ancestry stuff! I have been an avid fan of Findagrave for about 4 years. However, I did not sign up until I decided to post some of my photos. I live in Huntsville, AL but grew up in Scottsboro, AL. I guess you can say that I specialize in Jackson Co., AL cemeteries. My relatives and my husband's relatives are scattered throughout Jackson Co. (Scottsboro, Woodville, Stevenson, etc). Please let me know if you need a photo and I will be glad to try to get it. I do spend most of my weekends in some cemetery - even multiple cemeteries !! By the way, please feel free to use my cemetery photos of any of your friends and/or family. I take them for a reason. That reason is so the person who finds the photo is thrilled to see it just like I was when I found my first photo on Findagrave. Credit given for the photo would be appreciated.|

|Andy Baker||Re: Allie Gillum|
Thanks for the heads up on the wrong date of birth for Allie. I changed the date to that on her death certificate, and added a note about the discrepancy with the year on her marker.
|David L. McMonigle||ROBERT WAYNE MCMONIGLE|
Thanks much for Robert's grave photo. He is my nephew. I have added the image to my family history media collection. Thanks again for your interest and photography.
David L. McMonigle
Thank you for the photo.
Thanks you so much for posting the cemetery photo of my cousins William Oscar and Stella Lee GRIDER TIFFIN. I would probably never make it to Jackson Co, AL to do it myself.

Yes, I had a great time and I am glad I got to meet you. I do like "Find a Grave", but do not use it as much as I should.
|imagal49||RE: Headstone photos|
Yes, absolutely. As you may know, Larry passed away a few months ago, but I know he always allowed people to use photos for their relatives and would have been very pleased that he was able to help someone in their search.

|Pris Santos||Edna Carlton Henninger|
Wanted to let you know that the 1940 Census for Stevenson lists Edna C with W R Hennigar, Sallie Huddleston Henninger's son. The 1930 Census shows each living with their respective parents. Their ages on the 1940 Census match up to Edna Carlton's and William R. Henninger's ages as well. So I believe she was married to William Henninger rather than Gene Henninger. What do you think?
|Pris Santos||RE: Gaythur Henninger|
I think I may be related to you AND your husband! My grandmother, Emma Woodall, is Clyde's sister, and she married Henry Harold Huddleston. My mother, Louise Huddleston Wood, is Emma Woodall Huddleston's daughter. I asked my mother about Gene Henninger (he may still use Henegar - at least he did on his mother's death certificate). Mom only knows of Gene's wife, Betty Ruth Armstrong. She knew both Gene and Betty Ruth fairly well and was not aware of any earlier marriages for Gene. She was not familiar with Edna Carlton but that doesn't mean he wasn't married to her at some point. Is she on findagrave? If so, I missed her. I tried researching her on Ancestry and could find info for her family, but after 1930 census, she is lost.
|Pris Santos||Gaythur Henninger|
Wow! You work fast! Thank you so much for this photo. This name has been spelled a number of ways on different documents including his wife, Sallie, spelled Henegar on her death certificate with the informant being her son, Gene Henegar. My 91 year old mother knows them well and said she can remember when members of the same family spelled it differently. She also thought Gaythur had always been spelled Gaither.
I have a feeling we may be related in some way since much of our families are in Woodville, Stevenson, etc. Thanks again.
Thank you for taking the time to get this photo. SEM-SC
