Bio and Links
Bio Photo DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THIS UNION OFFICER? He appears to be a 2LT. IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HIS NAME AND UNIT. On the reverse side of the photo it says Partridge's Gallery, Wheeling West Virginia.

Findagrave was founded in 1998. When I first joined this site back in july 1999, we had to mail our photos to Utah and they would upload the records. This meant I did not get credit for many records. Anytime you see my photos dated before 2002, that meant I found the records but only credited with the photo. I would guess it was around 2011 that they added links to connect family members.

I strive to do Quality Work, Not Quantity Work.

Copyright information: You may use my photos. Most people do not give credit to the people who actually take the photos.

People listed as FAMOUS on this site are "maintained by findagrave", which means only they can edit/add information. Any records I have that are Famous, I can't change a thing for you, sorry.

Good Morning,

I want to thank you for your addition of this gentleman's head stone, mainly because its helped me, this very day to find out more information about the W.S.Dickey Clay Manufacturing Company of Kansas City/Deepwater, Mo.
I've been on the hunt for any information, any lead, any anything about this company for 7 years & although I've got tons of data, some makes no sense at all, where as others, produces volumes of new questions.
Your photo, plus the addition of information from Elsetta, have helped me tons today. Its opened up new windows, where I can now search.

Thank you so much, Sincerely,

James R. Greene

RE: holy cross cem NJ
Also, the only Joseph DiNardo ( or any variation of the spelling) I could find is in Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. He died in 1961. You can check this at This is the site I use to find location and verify locations when I go to Holy Cross to do requests. Good luck with your search !

RE: Agatha Voth Ellsaesser
Tom thanks for your prompt reply. Based on your meticulous work I assumed your source was a normally reliable one.

I found the death certificate on line and believe that surname “Voth” could easily be read “Vath”, and the mother’s given name could be read “Agnes”, her maiden name “Stabb” vs “Staub” is likely just a different spelling. The parents were from Germany all be it they always gave Bavaria as their birth location as was Agatha’s. I believe the father’s name is simply incorrect on the death certificate and it should be Adam.
