As of 7-28-21 I will be spending less time on FAG on a Daily basis. You can still message me and I will accept edits on a regular basis.
Thank you.

PLEASE - Do NOT put my email on memorial suggestions. This is out there for all to see. I have been getting unwelcome emails because of this. (it does not automatically appear when one makes an edit, i am talking about with copied and pasted obits)
Thank you.

PLEASE DO NOT TYPE EDITS OR OBITUARIES IN THE FLOWERS!!!! USE THE EDIT TAB FOR EDITS OR SEND THE OBIT TO THE MEMORIAL HOLDER TO ADD - IT IS NOT HELPFUL TO MAKE EDITS IN THE FLOWERS****

You are welcome to use any pictures I post on findagrave for your personal use for family genealogy or to post on Ancestry.com. Many of the memorials I have created are not related to me. I do a little research on each memorial I contribute, linking people to as many of their family members as I can find, as well as adding in bio/obit information.

If you find that I am managing a memorial for one of your friends or relatives (who is not related to me) I would be happy to transfer their management to you, I would rather have a memorial in the hands of someone who knew and loved them, not just a direct relative. Just use the edit tab, and let me know your relationship, along with your transfer request and your F.A.G. number.

I really want to say Thank You to all the other F.A.G. volunteer's for their time in entering memorials and getting headstone photos. I will gladly correct any mistakes or remove any accidental duplicates. (Duplicates drive me crazy, they are a waste of peoples time and energy!!). Though I try to be as accurate as possible, mistakes do happen!

Most of all this has become an added passion to my Ancestry work and I really enjoy contributing to F.A.G., I spend many hours a week on F.A.G., linking family, adding obits and memorials.

I live in Park County, Montana and have been adding the plot and burial information to the burials at Mountain View Cemetery. Ive also been adding obit/bio information. I am keeping current with the local Funeral Homes and the local paper.

If you would like a copy of an obit for the bio section for one of your memorials, that is in Park County, just let me know, some are easier to get than others, but I think it is important to know a bit about a person's life!

I firmly believe that this site is not just to add your own family and duplicate other memorials. This site is for all to come and share information and find their family, not to hold their own duplicating memorials or the most memorials.

I am growing weary of the folks that knowingly create duplicates over and over for their own use, I have come across folks where that is all their memorials are, duplicates!! what good does this do??? I actually had a man write to me that he was aghast that people had no relation to the people they were creating memorials for, how then did he think any information was getting on here??! I for one am grateful for everyone's time in adding memorials and that someday my memorials will find their families as I have found mine.

PLEASE do not just create a duplicate, ask for a transfer of the original memorial or use the virtual cemetery option. PLEASE.

I got this off my FAG friend Sharon's Page:

We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast, but when we say this we imagine that hour as placed in an obscure and distant future. It never occurs to us that it has any connection with the day already begun or that death could arrive this same afternoon, this afternoon which is so certain and which has every hour filled in advance. - Marcel Proust
