*** FREE DNA TESTING FOR KOREAN VETS ***
Korean War Veterans or children of deceased or incapacitated Korean War Veterans
Thomas Park Clement, president/CEO/Founder of Mectra Labs Inc., and a Korean adoptee, is providing $1 million for free DNA test kits that American Korean adoptees and war veterans can submit to 23andMe.
If you know of any Korean War Veterans, or children of deceased Korean War Veterans that would like to participate in the program by getting their DNA tested, please let them know.
Validity of veteran status will be checked.
Domestic (USA) requests only
Send your name and mailing address (No post office boxes) to email@example.com. You will then be notified as to when a kit will be shipped to you.
Here is the group for the project:
And here is an article from USAToday: http://www.usatoday.com/…/me--korea-helps-war-orp…/30630161/
I am researching numerous branches, twigs and leaves of my tree. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, I'm not a geneaology snob. I can take pictures of cemeteries in Solano County California (sometimes Napa County). When asking me to take photo's, please first contact the cemetery, get the plot location and then contact me.
A peek at my virtual graves will give you insight into the family names that I am researching.
If you have any questions or corrections for my memorials, please click the link on the top right of the memorial. If you are the descendent of a memorial that I am not related to and would like to take over management, let me know. I will gladly do this, as long as you do not cancel my memorial, that would be a violation of the terms.

I've not heard of Belvin Grove, however I do know of a Belvin AME Church Cemetery that borders Houston County and Macon County lines off HWY 224. Send me a private message (ronezell@) on Hotmail with more info and I'll see if I can help. We have several Groves in the area too.

Hey Bella can you please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org? It is private genealogy talk and I knew you would see it if I left you a message here first.

I have placed most of the memorials in this cemetery and was asked respectfully by the pastor to please not photograph his cemetery. I must respect his wishes. I wish I could have helped.

I do not have his obituary any more. However, if you contact the Bixby Historical Society found at
www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~okbhs/pop_alt.html or via email at email@example.com, they will do obituary look-ups for free. (There is also a phone number on the web page, if you want to call them.) You can also look on their web page to see who is buried in that cemetery - maybe he has other family members buried there and there may be other obituaries that would be pertinent to your search.
