Bio

I have been actively researching genealogy for over twenty years. In my experience, I have ofttimes been surprised to learn just how much misinformation is erroneously passed on from generation to generation via family members.

I make every attempt to carefully validate and cross reference each entry that I record. Being human I will sometimes make mistakes. I welcome anyone who comes into possession of contradictory information to immediately contact me so that together we may arrive at a copacetic determination.

Some of the family names I am researching are Burton, Clinton, Coker, Garrison, Hooper, McClure, Martin, Morgan, Watson, White, and Word.

Please feel free to copy and use any photographs that I have contributed to FAG. No photo credit is necessary. I have a hard time understanding the mindset of those who do not want to share freely the photos of loved ones. It isn't as if these individuals aren't the bona fide relatives of countless other descendants. It would be different if someone walked into their house with a gun and robbed them of the original prints. They're only copies! Lighten up folks!

****The Clock Of Life ****

The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
At late or early hour.

To lose one's wealth is sad indeed,
To lose one's health is more,
To lose one's soul is such a loss
That no man can restore.

The present only is our own,
So Live, Love, toil with a will --
Place no faith in 'Tomorrow' --
For the clock may then be still.

It's the SOLDIER,
not the reporter who has given us Freedom of the Press...

It's the SOLDIER,
not the poet, who has given us Freedom of Speech...

It's the SOLDIER,
not the campus organizer, who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate...

It's the SOLDIER,
not the lawyer, who has given us the Right to a Fair Trial...

It's the SOLDIER who:
SALUTES THE FLAG,
SERVES UNDER THE FLAG
and whose COFFIN IS DRAPED BY THE FLAG.
