Gjuilinger
Russ, You and I are long distance connected to Guilinger. Hannah Dodge was sister to Ann (1814) Guilinger who married my 2d great grandfather John Foxhill. I see you do not have much on the Guilinger side.

Ronaldon's AKA Phila. Cemetery
Russ, thank you for the quick reply, but I do not go with this theory. Most duplicates are probably caused by a poster "not" doing their homework and checking to see if already listed. We do not know if "factually" a body/remains were removed. So many horror stories of the Philadelphia cemeteries. Regards, Jane

Closed out Ronaldson's AKA Phila. Cemetery
Russ, I am appalled that All the postings of our ancestor's are no longer on this site. Everyone interred there should so have remained! If I knew an ancestor was removed at some time, I noted that to the person. Will you close down Franklin, Monument, Lafayette and all the others as well?
Regards, Jane

Robert Von Schlick
Find A Grave Memorial# 6240995

FYI - from your bio - The date of the awarding of his Medal, one of two issued posthumously from the Boxer Rebellion, was not recorded, and is unknown.

Robert died in 1941.

See: Find A Grave Memorial# 55062421

The San Diego Union
Sunday Morning, March 28, 1926
Among those who knew him well is Robert M. von Schlick, 1214 South Twenty-ninth Street. Von Schlick fought with Lee before Tientsin in the Boxer Rebellion and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor on recommendation of Lee, then a Major.

misspelling of Ignatius
Mr. Dodge, recently I was doing some work on Martin Ignatius Joseph Griffin who is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Delaware County, PA. The Memorial Number is 39646683.
Two letters are reversed in his name Ignatius: the letters g and n. Would you please correct that error? I cannot do that.

I submitted some updated information. He was not born in Ireland; he was born in Philadelphia. I also found out he was born in Oct 1842. Since I saw his death certificate, I know he died in Philadelphia. I added these pieces of info to update the his memorial.

As I said, I am unable to correct the spelling error in his name. I would so appreciate your doing that.

Thank you,
Donna Stockl

When a contributor dies
How do you add, make changes to, or take over family members memorials if the person who is over it is no longer living?
