Bio and Links
Bio Photo We work as a team: Russian-Danish family living in London. After a few years in the Middle East, we have now moved to our next adventure in China. County-keepers for England. Being long-term expats, we are very interested in all Russians and Danes who found their last resting place away from their home countries. We will be grateful for any comments, advice and links to memorials. Thanks to this wonderful website we have found many friends all over the world and the amount of mails we receive increase all the time. We appreciate all the mails and ALWAYS reply but sometimes it takes longer than we would like to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We prefer to get your questions and corrections through e-mail (use the EDIT tab in the memorial). Please include your own e-mail in case we need to write back to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, yes.

I too have no interest in communicating with you!
But I must put you straight about the order things happened!
You declined my edit suggestion. Then I added the Birth Register page as evidence, with an explanation of why it was there. At the same time I sent another edit suggestion thinking you would accept it having seen the proof! This is the one that you wrongly think is the declined suggestion, ... but yes, you then declined that also!

COWPER - Hampstead Cemetery

I wonder if you could take a close-up of the Parent's grave marker ( free of moss !) so that I can read dates and ages. Jean Armit Cowper's sister was married to my Gt Grandfather's cousin, and I have done a lot of research into the Armit family.
Thanks for the photos anyway

Finding graves
Hi Julia and Keld,

I agree that the main idea of Find a Grave is to find a grave, but you and I know that there are hundreds of thousands of entries on the site where there is no grave to be found - eg those lost at sea, named on a memorial where the body could not be found, etc, etc. Maybe you know your way around the site better than me but at times I feel forced to put in detail that I am not sure of.

I know that you have vast experience in the area of locating graves and cemeteries and would not go on a wild goose chase looking for a prisoner of war camp, nominally in Russia but which probably disappeared from wherever it was based long ago. Even someone new to the game would hardly go off to Russia looking for the place on the scanty information supplied in the memorial.

Nevertheless I accept that when I enter information it should be as correct as possible, so if you have any advice on how to rectify this issue, I would welcome it.

RE: Gunton, St Peter's
As North Norfolk would add even more confusion to someone looking for a memorial the address will have to be changed somehow. I'll do it myself.

Ketschendorf POW Camp
Hi Julia and Keld,

I'm sorry but there's nothing to share. I read that the person concerned died at the POW camp, as did many of the Germans taken into captivity by the Soviets, never to return. Because I had to nominate a site for the camp I put down somewhere in the Soviet Union, but with a name like that it sounds more German that Soviet. I have no reason to believe that he or any others has a permanent marker of what happened to their bodies once they died.

Regards, Tim

Davies Grave Shot
Hi, are you going to be adding a grave shot for this memorial?

Gunton, St Peter's

You have the address for St Peter's as the North Norfolk district of Norfolk but it is, in fact, in the north Suffolk area on the outskirts of Lowestoft. Could you please arrange for the address to be changed to:
Gunton Church Lane, Gunton, Suffolk, NR32 4LQ

I have confirmed it is the same place by checking the memorials you have added with photographs I took there this afternoon.

Many thanks
