Fallen Graver

Sadly, Margaret has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

Being raised in a small town in southeast Kansas family and friends were a very important part of my life. When I was small I loved listening to my parents and grandparents talk of family. I loved meeting older family members and listening to the stories. Even though these people are gone now they are still very much a part of my life, they taught me to nurture and value family, they guided me to become the person I am today.

My parents and grandparents were faithful in visiting cemeteries and remembering and honoring those that have passed. I guess I inherited that love. Therefore, I dedicate my work on Labette County cemeteries and family histories to my parents and grandparents. It is my hope that I can link families together and tell the stories of the pioneers who first came to the area.

NOTE: Any of the pictures that I have entered aren't bound by copyright infringement and can be used in your family trees. OUT OF "RESPECT" FOR THOSE OF US WHO SPEND HOURS AND HOURS AND TRAVEL MANY MILES TO TAKE THESE PICTURES, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW BEFORE YOU YOU POST A PICTURE I HAVE TAKEN ON THE INTERNET. ***ALSO: I would appreciate it if you would list your source when posting my photos to Ancestry.com or other on-line sites. If you have a question regarding a picture, please feel free to contact me.

I will also transfer a memorial to you if they are your family (with the exception of my direct family). Should you find an error or have additional information on any of the people I have posted, e-mail me. I am always glad to make additions and corrections so that the information is as accurate as possible. It may take me a few days to make a correction, so be patient!

But most of all, thank you to all of those who have posted information and photos on Find A Grave. This is a great resource tool for all of us.
