Rebekah Jane Tidball Schuler Do you know if Rebekah Jane Tidball (#32141196) had any children? In the 1850 census, her husband Samuel Schuler had not yet married, and in 1870, Samuel and his second wife, Margaret Robertson, had no children living with them. I couldn't find Samuel in 1860. I'm descended from Joseph McKnight of Upper St. Clair Twp., Allegheny Co., Pa., and it appears that Rebekah's McKnight ancestors are from the same township, so I'm wondering if I've discovered a new branch of cousins. My list of 23andme DNA matches includes three people with associated Schuler surnames. Do you think there may be a match through Rebekah?
Chenowith or Chinworth ? Hello, My grt grt grandmother was Rebecca (Jennie) White Schuler. Her mother was a Provines who's sister married a man named Robert Chenowith according to my family, not Chinworth. On Find-A-Grave there is a headstone for a Robert Chinworth and a Robert Chenowith. In the 1860 census Robert Chenowith is listed with his wife and children and Rebecca J. White who would have been his neice. This is the correct family as far as I am concerned as Rebecca was married to John Schuler from her uncle's home in Indiana. So I am thinking that the correct name would be Chenowith for my relative. I am very confused. Sandy
Jacob Schuler Do you info on Jacob Schuler July 2, 1835-March 25, 1918 from Wabash County, Indiana? I found a marriage license for Jacob and Lucy Mogle in Chicago in 1906. Lucy appears on the 1910 & 1920 Federal Census in Roann, Indiana. I believe Lucy's maiden name was Taylor. Her first marriage was to William Elliott in Fulton County in 1867. Her daughter, Ella, married John Newbrough from Wabash. Her second marriage was to William Henry Mogle. Do I have the correct Jacob?
