Thanks for your help. Do you think this is the right cemetery I've listed? Nothing listed in Girona but name is right. This says Barcelona.

Do you have any idea where he is buried? Reports are pretty vague. They say Palomas.

RE: Anna Quirentia Nilsson
You're welcome. It's too bad, however, that the folks at Find A Grave decided to remove all the other neat photos from her memorial. AND they also inexplicably removed the relationship links to her two husbands! Why, I have no idea. But I am taking action to have those restored. But now she's "famous" so that, I guess, is something. And my cousin in Sweden was able to link her up to her parents and younger brother Assar. So, between the three of us, we're going to "do right" by her. Thanks again.

Clarence Leon Brown
Hi, I went to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA today to visit Clarence's grave. Once we gained entrance to the Columbine of Honor where he and his family are buried we could not find a plot for them. With the help of the people in the mortuary office we determined that the Brown family is actually buried in the beautiful statue in the center of the Columbine of Honor. Would you be so kind to add this information to Clarence's findagrave page. He is my 1st cousin twice removed. Thank you so much for your help. Claudia Brown Hutchins

David Manners actor
An allegation has been made here in a post that David Manners' star was removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame years later because he was gay. In fact, Manners never had a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the first place. The implication in the post was that Manners had a star around the time of his career or not long after his last film in 1936. But the Walk did not come into existence until the '50s, long after his screen career was over. Those making the decisions at the Hollywood Walk of Fame have "punished" some film artists for their political views. It took Charlie Chaplin years to get his star. One of the most conspicuous absentees today, as I've pointed out here, is the Oscar-winning actress Gale Sondergaard, a clear snub by the Walk people due to her politics. But whatever else the Walk of Fame people may have been guilty of when it comes to political bias, they hardly have a record of discriminating against openly gay actors. Both William Haines and Ramon Novarro, whose homosexuality was widely known and is undisputed, have had stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for years. That Manners has been overlooked by the Walk people is unfortunate but as with the team of Wheeler and Woolsey and one of Manners' co-stars, Marian Marsh, among his contemporaries also lacking a star, I think it has more to do with Hollywood's amnesia than any conspiracy directed against the actor over his personal life. Thought this was pretty interesting to share with all.

Carlos Estrada.

Got her made famous by a little editing to fit Famous guidelines. I made sure you kept the bio because I only took out the paragraphs and made a couple of minor edits. I actually visited the cemetery where she is buried as I went to school very close (a few hundred meters) to there many years ago and went back to see it in 2011.
