Bio and Links
Bio Photo Taphophilia (a passion and enjoyment of cemeteries) has been my main hobby since the late 1970's when I was a junior in high school. I discovered that cemeteries in and around Los Angeles were the best places to hide from truant officers. It was in these adopted sanctuaries that I began to appreciate my surroundings: the grounds, the headstones, the architecture, the artwork and most importantly, the residents.

In October of 2010, I founded The Traveling Taphophiles, a group that sets out once a month to visit cemeteries. Our travels have taken us as far as New Orleans. I'm fortunate to have met others that share my hobby and to have forged some great friendships along the way.

Once photos have been posted, feel free to use them as you wish - photo credit isn't necessary.

Happy Graving ~

Louis DuMort

I miss Chris with all my heart.

Clement Zeronis
Louis, thank you so much for taking the time to photograph his grave marker. I am trying to find all the burial places of students from my high school. I couldn't find Clement's obituary and his grave marker gives me some info I didn't have, so that is helpful. Thanks again! Mary

RE: Rose Hills Policy
Yeah, it's not a "heads-up"....Sunny removed that info from his/her profile page, so I don't know what was up with that. Sorry for the alarm.
Can't imagine after all these years that there would be an issue now. If there is, I will contact them and see what's going on.
Until then, just keep doing what needs to be done.

Rose Hills Policy
Is it true that Rose Hills as a NO Find A Grave policy there? Read that on Sunny's profile page.
What a shame....can't understand that, if it's true.
