Bio and Links
Bio Photo Taphophilia (a passion and enjoyment of cemeteries) has been my main hobby since the late 1970's when I was a junior in high school. I discovered that cemeteries in and around Los Angeles were the best places to hide from truant officers. It was in these adopted sanctuaries that I began to appreciate my surroundings: the grounds, the headstones, the architecture, the artwork and most importantly, the residents.

In October of 2010, I founded The Traveling Taphophiles, a group that sets out once a month to visit cemeteries. Our travels have taken us as far as New Orleans. I'm fortunate to have met others that share my hobby and to have forged some great friendships along the way.

Once photos have been posted, feel free to use them as you wish - photo credit isn't necessary.

Happy Graving ~

Louis DuMort

I was so sad to hear about my friend Denny Miller passing. I was a guest at his home a couple of years ago and he was a very kind and modest gentleman. You wrote another beautiful biography here on findagrave. Thanks so much!

RE: Lauren Bacall
I'm glad to hear of the correction and inclusion of her first movie "To Have and Have Not" with soon to be husband Humphrey Bogart. Forget Pitt and Jolie. Bogie and Betty were "The Couple" in their day.

Lovely biography of the great Lauren Bacall! Beautifully written. She went to school with my aunt Celeste, who adored her. Thank you!
