Bio and Links
Bio Photo I research many family lines>> They come from Pa to NC/TN, from KY to TX.Willing to take those of my family lines, extended families & those in our Smothers Tribe DNA project to manage when I run across them. I am glad to submit various family memorials as the info is gathered & given to me. It is my passion as a genial genealogist to assist others as much as possible.

..I like this from members pages "Let's make it a goal to add as much info, as we can possibly document, to these memorials."
.."I enjoy reading contributors Bio's but it's called that for a reason but Not, to use the space to reiterate guidelines by a contributor who feels the need to preach to others about how they should make their memorials. Believing we are all adults & know the guidelines most all do act accordingly & do not need preaching."
.."Any and all info or pics I have uploaded are meant for SHARING! I just don't understand anyone thinks different, if you don't want to share, than DON'T put them on a public site!"

Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. [that should end that discussion]I like DC for info and guides esp if one died young, why? It's important to visitors and family, esp if some inherited health issue family needs to know. DNA test called 23and me helps families know inherited fatal issues; passed from generations down.

"The Dash" based on little line on tombstone, between the dates of birth-death; ultimately, is a symbol represents each day spent alive on earth; how one spends the "dash" is what really matters; memorials hopefully give a glimpse into lives of that DASH!

Living on a working ranch, happily retired; heartfelt Passion for Genealogy; immensely enjoy working with members, helping folks connect with their ancestors; happy to make links, corrections & transfers. Esp appreciative of gravestone photographers; big Cudos!!Many kind thanks leaving flowers of ancestor memorials!
~Happy Trails!

PS-Not sure WHO deleted my pet peeve of going to my memorials, signing MY name and adding a forget me not flower I do NOT have in my scrapebook, but STOP IT! IT'S BEING DONE AGAIN PLUS DELETING SOME OF MY OWN SCRAPEBOOK FLOWERS! and JFYI I own our DNA flower token, no one else does, NO ONE, leave it ALONE and stop deleting it!!

Nena, I have added the information to Prudence Elmina's memorial. I did not add the daughters name since she is living. Thanks for contacting me with the info. Connie

Matt
Traxler
I went ahead and made the link between Stephen and David Traxler. I figure that, although the burial is "unknown," it is likely the best we can do given the paucity of records for the period in which David lived.

Paul Boethel
I am desperately in need of finding a close living relative of Judge Boethel. He wrote a book about our family - Ole Foley-. I need to find kinfolks to get permission to print (not publish) more copies of the book for our family.
Do you have any information?

Zelda
The Forget-Me-Not flower
Just in case you're still puzzled about this: Some of the flower and other memorial icons were removed from Find A Grave because whoever held the copyright on them no longer wanted them used or complained for some other reason. The Forget-Me-Not is the site default flower, so if you leave a token and the token photo is removed for any reason at all, it's automatically replaced by the forget-me-not. This happened to a bunch of people in 2015 and was discussed in the old forum, where admin explained the situation. You weren't singled out; a lot of people complained.

Laurence & Ethel Pahl
I got your email. I'm glad your power has been restored.

Ethel's memorial was created right before the one for Laurence, although I did not have them linked until you wrote.

Because you wrote, I did a quick search and got their complete dates of birth and death and added them to the memorials.

Thank you

Bless you
