RE: Photographs
You're welcome. I suppose you mean the Millers - - I fill a lot of requests. Happy to help, no matter whom you mean. The flowers are sort of my trademark, cheesy since they are plastic - but gives it a little more style and identity. Best - cb

Here goes:
Take I85 to Banks Crossing exit(Hwy 441)
Go south on Hwy 441 towards Athens
At intersection with Hwy 326, turn left
Go about 4 miles on 326 to 4 way stop
Turn right(which will continue to be 326)
Go about 1 mile to Carson road on right
Turn right
Go about 1/2 mile to top of hill
Turn right onto Ft Lamar Road
Go about 1/2 mile to Cain road on left
Turn left onto Cain Road(was a dirt road)
Travel to end of road to barn on right side
Look for wooded ridge straight across pasture(or field)
Cemetery is to left of wooded ridge through fence
Graves were originally raised graves, but have been reduced to piles of rocks by loggers.
The Lady that lives in last house can probably point you in correct direction, if she is still alive.
Good Luck!

RE: Strickland Cemetery
I can. I will have to look back through my notes to give you accurate directions. I can go to it, but not sure I can tell you how, without looking at notes. I posted the graves from my mother-in-laws notes. She had found the graves in early
90's. She had taken my husband and me to this location, along with several others in same vicinity, and told us they were family. She was adamant about being sure we knew where our ancestors were buried. At the time we really weren't interested, but went anyway. Now we are glad that we did. A couple of years after she took us she came down w/ early signs of Alzheimer's and went down hill very quickly. We wished we had asked more questions. I have visited the site in last year and can tell you the graves have been either vandalized or disturbed from loggers since the time I visited with her years ago. They have been reduced to piles of rocks. Pretty sad that others aren't reverent of those who were here before us. When you go, after I get you directions, will you take pics and post? THANKS! Ann
