Bio

First and foremost. I am not and never will be a memorial hoarder. I will never have 94,000 memorials that are half way done. I will never complain and tell people to only send me 20 corrections a week. I will add all the information I have for the memorial and gladly transfer or update memorials with verifiable information. I have been on the end of hoarders including my mother and father's memorial and had to fight to have them transferred to me. Their obits were grabbed from the newspaper before we even buried them. I am not one of those people.
To those newspaper obit trolls, just remember when the obit hits the newspaper the family is in the middle of funeral services and adding their loved one to FAG is far from their mind. Be considerate and when you are asked to transfer just do it, it is the right thing to do.

I started genealogy research in 1975 by asking my grandfather who was born in 1881 all about his family. My hopes are to track and find the locations of the graves of my ancestors.
I encourage everyone to be proactive and protect old cemeteries. Cities and towns are running out of land and cemeteries are being build over before families have a chance to fight back.
Consider having your old family cemetery designated as a historical site if your state has that designation and if not petition your state to create a program for historic family and community cemeteries.

I honour families and their rights to manage their loved ones memorials. I will transfer memorials which are not my family. Just E me.
