Hello I'm John T. Griffith, born in Oceanside California, a Viet Nam War US Army MP Veteran and a former CHP Officer. In September 2002, I assisted the National Archives Center, Missouri, in replacing lost and destroyed US Army files. It was during that research project I discovered Find A Grave, wanted to be a part of it's concept and became a member. I have always had a passion for history and the people who have lived it. People in everyday life who through the needs and demands of their times shaped the world. I believe each day is a gift and the best part of any day is that day. I'm also a professional musician and have shared the stage with many named artists. In addition, I'm a vintage guitar expert have contributed, plus co-wrote for many vintage guitar books and articles in Vintage Guitar magazine about the subject. Plus a photographer, writer and historian, for the San Diego Reader. I will gladly transfer any of my bios to relatives or folks with a concerned interest. I, my wife Mary and our Dachshund "Timmy", reside in Vista, California. Thanks and best regards, John|

Good morning John, Thank you for your assistance.
The picture of his Grave almost made me cry. I am NOT nuts, believe me.
I have so many un-answered questions in my head, as to where all of his family have vanished to?? I remember him on That Good Ole Nashville Music,I have loved him ever since then.
I have Googled his name, until they tell me I have been there so many days before.
I am friends with the Gentleman, who introduced him when his "Borrowed Angel" first came out.He has no clue as to what happened to Mel, they were friends, he feels like I do there was another ways out, rather than taking his life.
Thank you for your help, Margie

Thank you for doing such good work. I wonder where you found the picture of James Nagle and if it is copyrited. I would like to add it to his profile in my computer. Some of my husband's cousins are descendants of the Nagle family and I have been tracing their roots for some time. This would be a great addition to their story.

John, Thank you for updating. Granville is my 2nd Great Grandpa. I have been trying to trace him and suspected this was his headstone, but couldn't be sure until I found his daughter Nellie Jane's signature on the vets headstone application. I would love it if you would transfer his memorial to me. Thank you so very much, Paula Leach
