I'm curious if you have any more information on Lottie May Anderson (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=234&GRid=12347018&) specifically concerning the people she may have known in the Caseville area.
My wife's great grandmother is Helen Reilly. Helen had a hand written recipe for what looks like fig bars that was labeled Mrs. Anderson Caseville Mich and Lottie came up on my web searches as someone who might fit the identification mainly since she's about the same age as Helen and lived in a similar area. In case your curious about the recipe I posted it in my blog (which contains a scan of the original clipping) http://recipesleuth.blogspot.com/2014/07/mrs-andersons-spiced-fig-bars.html.

Do you have family/friends still in Caseville who might be able to take headstone photos for
Ann Carty Anderson, Elisabeth Carty Anderson and George Anderson (d1928). I posted a request for photos from the memorials but the photo volunteer who contacted me said the cemetery record keeper had no records of these burials in the cemetery.
Your help would be greatly appreciated ;-) Dawn

Hi Mark -
Just a short note to inquire whether you are still researching the Anderson family. My great-great grandfather was James Anderson, one of the 5 Anderson brothers who came over from Scotland in the middle 1800s to start a new life in North America. I wouldn't mind corresponding with you as I have been working on the Anderson family history as well, including the civil war service of John and William Anderson, my great-great grandfathers younger brothers.

I have stumbled among your memorials while searching a distant branch of my own tree. I had put in photo requests for Ann Carty Anderson, Elisabeth Carty Anderson and George Anderson (d1928). The photo volunteer tried working with the cemetery record keeper who had no records of these burials in the cemetery. Do you have documentation of the buriels; death certs., obits etc.. that might help? Thanks if you can shed any light on this mystery. Dawn
I was glad to see the picture of George Howard and wondered if you have any of his parents or other siblings. I am descended from his oldest sister Mettie. I do have a picture of her, but no one else. I would also like to know if you know anything more about the Howards and the Greenfields, such as where they came from in England?
Thank you, Sandi

|Don Rose||Eliza (ROSE) HOWARD|
Have you found any other information on Eliza. I was in Michigan this summer searching for info on her and Daniel. I was in Van Buren, Allegan, Calhoun & Barry Counties. There was quite a bit of info on Daniel's brothers at Albion Library, but not much on Daniel.
I did find several land records for him and Eliza in South Haven. I also spent 5 days at the Genealogy Center in Fort Wayne. That's a great research place.
If you email me. I'll tell you more about my ROSE family in Michigan.
