Hi! My name is Janet and live in Montana but grew up in Indiana. I am married going on 29 years this August. I recently lost my dear mother and best friend and been having a hard time but knowing she is with my Dad and the Lord helps. I have two children. Our daughter lives in Montana and recently got engaged to a nice young man from Canada. Our son was helping take care of my mother with me before she passed away and decided to keep living in Indiana. I love Find A Grave and most of the people are very sweet and kind. Thank you all for your time to leave flowers or kind words, it really means a lot!|
I am in Indiana visiting with family and went to see my mother stone they have her death date on there. I was so worried that it wouldn't be done but it was and looks good too. It looks bright white but it will fade over time. It was sad coming back not seeing my mother welcome me back but my son was there and even made me spaghetti. I am a lucky Mom.
Today was my first birthday without my mother and our family reunion. It was a tough day but felt her presenc. I miss her so much!! My daughter made it to Indiana and also her fiancÚ from Canada came as a surprise. My sister is leaving on Monday to go back and wont see her for another year.

No problem. My wife and I were trying to clear up the photo request for Sumption Prairie Cemetery. We found a few that we were looking for but now need the help of the Sextant. Maybe next week we can get back at it.

Thank you for your kind words. If I can help with another family member just let me know.

Hi, I no longer live in Ks so you might contact the one who maintains it as they have alot of info on the family, not sure why I don
t have her pic but it may not be there she died later than him. E

You will have to name the cemetery, his name is not pulling up.
Thank you for transferring her memorial page to me, and for creating it in the first place!

Hi Janet, Could you please add your Mexican War cemetery plaque photo to Alexander's page 149440609. He does not have a grave stone. Thanks so much, Dee

|Gary Varallo||Maude Dawley|
Thank you for transferring Maude's memorial to me. She was the third wife of Victor Dawley. His second wife, Minnie Smitchger Dawley, my grandfather's older sister, died of a stroke in 1964. This sunset marriage no doubt made both of them very happy with their love of travel. Uncle Vic, as we called him, loved to go to craft shows featuring glass blowing, his favorite hobby during his retirement. I only met Maude a few times, but she seemed a kindly lady. If not for your work, I would not know what happened to her since I moved out of Indiana many years ago.

Thank you. I understand and I'm happy to help. Hopefully one of these days the documents will be found.

Hi, Concerning Catherine Truex Stillwell Memorial# 15551361 - do you know if anyone has found any documentation which proves the Catherine who was married to Jeremiah was a Truex. Jeremiah is my 4th ggrandfather and I would love to find anything which indicates this to be true.
