Please visit my dad John Joseph "JJ" Farley and my mom Arlene Ida Wittenberg and other family members that I have linked together. If the mood strikes, thank you for leaving a flower or token.|
Please DO NOT make requests by leaving a message.
Use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to ask for any corrections, updates, or transfers to be made. I need the links the "EDIT" tab provides. Please make sure you're signed in as I need the link to your member page as well.
The 6th option on the "EDIT" tab - "Suggest Any Other Addition or Correction" is a free-form e-mail sent to the manager of the memorial (even when they have their e-mail address hidden from public view) and should be used when -
1. you'd like bio info added (or corrected),
2. anything that requires an explanation or source info; or if you'd like to contact the member without leaving a public message.
The "EDITS" tab on the top part of your profile page is NOT the same as the "EDIT" tab on each memorial page. This is where you will check on the status of most of the edits you request as well as approving or denying most of the edits sent to you.
Please read the FAQ's!(AKA - Help with FAG) There have been many changes to the FAQ's lately, please re-read them. If you can't find an answer or if what you're looking for isn't clear, please come to the Discussion Forums. There are many people there with years of experience on this website and are more than happy to help.
I do not link to memorials that are - "Burial: Unknown Location". Find the grave first, then we add all the other info.
I add these memorials as a tribute to those who have passed as well as allowing friends and relatives who cannot travel to "visit" and pay their respects.
Any information in these memorials that is not listed in the obituary was either provided by another member, was available on the funeral home (listed in the obit) website or taken from SSDI.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who have added their hard work, love and sanity to create these memorials. Without your dogged trekking through brush, nettles, rain, snow, ornery cemetery attendants, dusty historical registers and the like to photograph and record the resting places of those that have gone on before us, we would not have this website.
My heartfelt thanks to bill for sponsoring several of my family's memorials. He is a very kind man with a wicked sense of humor.

I think Harold is in good care with you. We can talk any time you like!! Thanks for the quick answer!!
Did you know Harold? He was my neighbor. I just created a memorial which I will delete. His birthdate was 17 Sep 1942
Thanks for creating him a memorial. He was very nice.

No problem; I've copied that photo to the other memorial.

Hi: Thanks for your response. I'm wondering if a separate "cemetery" should be created for the memorial garden. There are quite a few cremation gravesites in the memorial garden. They are in what looks like raised beds for gardens, with small name signs. It is outside of the cemetery and only has cremations. When I did a google search, I saw Setauket Presbyterian Church "church yard" and "cemetery" I don't have an official record that references this as the burial location but I saw two family members when I was at the funeral for Helen. It seems odd to me that the cemetery doesn't have any burials much later than 1900 and then there's Helen's in 2014. Surely at least one of those cremation graves in the memorial garden would a memorial and being a cremation, would be later than 1900. Odd.

Hello: I noticed that this individual is the only one in the Setauket Presbyterian Church Cemetery with a recent date of death. I'm wondering if there is a separate cemetery listing for the church memorial garden for cremations? I know she is buried in the garden because I was at the funeral. I want to add two more memorials but want to make sure I'm doing it in the right place. THank you, Chris Smith
They are buried in the 2U section of LINC. This area is undergoing renovations where the stones are being repositioned. Consequently, the area looks like a desert or construcion site. I've taken pix of the people that have been finished, (the Bennetts are there too) but it will probably be Oct until there is green grass and the site looks okay. You might want to request a new photo then. Send the request right to me and I'll take care of it.

Dorothy Korponay has a new marker, the flip side of John's. I see there is already a picture for her old marker on the site. Do you want the new one listed as well?

|Doris Albro||Coat of Arms = Flowers|
I am not hiding behind a public message. Just one last thing Mrs. Smith, if you would take the time to add your coat of arms to customize your flower page, the symbol would not show up that there is a photograph there. Simple, I don't have time to prove that to you but simple logic will do. Check with F.A.G. if you don't think I am right. A coat of arms is not a portrait.
As long as we are on the subject of photographs, several of your memorials show the symbol that means there is a photograph of the person. There is not, there are other pictures but not of the person. The rules say: No decorative graphics, animated GIFs, photo frames, or graphic embellishments.
That was a friend of mine and I had permission. It did not come from the funeral home, it came from the newspaper and I have permission from that paper.
