I am looking at Augusta Roggenkamp and Augusta Henry of Green - Wood Cemetery in Kings County, NY.
I believe the photo posted to Roggenkamp #58364081 should go to the Henry memorial number 135734258

Thanks, Terri

Oh, I see the date in now
Yes, it is conflicting with the memorial date and the statement about their marriage, then putting in parentheses (1796-1873). Memorial page does give 1796-1871 as dob & dod. I will communicate with BKGenie.

Durno - Durne
James Durno:

Birth: 1796
Death: 1871

James Durne:

Death: 6-24-1871
lot# 18342

Bob, if you are at the cemetery for photography and it is not too difficult to find the site, would you take a look at lot# 18342 and photograph it? The year of death does match for the 2 James D's, but I do not want to do a memorial for James Durne if it is the same person.

-Thanks for your patience...

Me again
Hi Bob, I spent some time at and it appears that James is listed on their web-site as surname of Durne, rather than Durno.

What are your thoughts?

Sarah Bagley
Hi, and thanks for your research.

Sarah may be buried under her married name. "She married James Durno (1796-1873) on November 13, 1850." So, perhaps Sarah Durno???

Sorry I didn't catch that when I put in my request.

RE: Skeffington Norton in Green-Wood
Thanks for all your work. I especially appreciate the information you gleaned from the cemetery records. Is the stone for John Norton on other individuals records? I only saw it on Skeffington's. BTW, all these people are my husband's relatives (uncles, cousins, grandparents). Do you think Greenwood Cemetery would consider removing the shrubbery? Thanks! Cindy Norton
