Emily, Thank you so much for adding the newspaper articles to Mr. Cochran's memorial. Because of the survivors listed, I can tell that this man was the great-uncle of a dear friend. It is so good to fill in the blanks of his family tree.
Thank you! - Carolyn Davis
PS - It is so cool to find important information left with the "flowers."

Thank you for posting my Grandmother's grave site and adding her obituary. I was so happy to find it. My sister and I were able to locate our family plot on a recent visit to OKC. We were happy to find it and appreciate your work on this project.

Thanks, so much for your kind attention to my great uncles memorial.
If you are ever wanting to distribute any of the memorials, I'd be happy to pick T. C. and his wife up. I do not believe that they have any direct descendants. I did ask my father about this when he was alive and he said that neither of his son's had children. So probably did not.
|Rita Collvins Mayfield||Willis and Georgia|
Thanks for checking Emily. Going to the History Center is way beyond the call. I have decided that since Willis is not to be found on the 1930 census, perhaps they were having problems and Georgia was staying with her daughter at the time. Obviously since they are together on the 1940 census, there is some explanation. I checked out the stones. The dates so seem to be the same as the information, so I will go with that as being correct. Thanks for the help. Your a brick!

I am hoping you might be able to help me with this. Willis Dudley Ramsey Jan. 22, 1856
Sep. 25, 1954, wife Georgia Ann Ramsey Dec. 31, 1854 Aug. 3, 1941 buried in Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee. I am finding conflicting information on his death date and was wondering if you might have access to obits that could clear it up. I have them together on the 1940 census, but on the 1930 census Georgia is shown with her married daughter Nora Yeaton and is said to be a widow. I am going to try to go over there and see if I can see if the stones (none posted) coincide with the written records.

Thank you for the newspaper notice regarding the death of Horace in Oklahoma City, OK. We were never sure where he had died.
Again, THANK YOU for your contributions for those of us in search of our ancestors!
