I live in Cordova (Memphis) Tennessee and retired from teaching preschool hearing-impaired children. As often as I can, I spend time in Florida where my parents live. I have a son and a daughter, both in New York City, and 2 granddaughters. I love singing and being outdoors in nature. I'm always ready to travel and see new places. I also enjoy genealogy--in reading and hearing family history I feel a connection to the past. For years, I have enjoyed walking through old cemeteries--it is peaceful to me, as well as interesting. When my kids were growing up and we were driving somewhere on vacation, they'd see a cemetery out the window and say "Oh no, don't let Mom see that!" As I have many photos of family gravestones, I now have a place to start putting them; and don't mind doing the same for others. My family lines are Lyles, Reinoehl, Weisenberger, Moorman, Read.
