|Joe Craver -- KY Legionnaire||Find A Grave Memorial# 52113569|
I surveyed Rogers Cemetery #1 last month, but cound not find the grave for Mr. Rives.
However, last week I surveyed the Rosedale, (formerly Pembroke) Cemetery in the eastern part of Christian County. (Rogers Cem is in the western part.) I first found a fairly new marker noting the movement of 4 graves from Fort Campbell to Pembroke Cemetery. One of them was William Marshall Rives. Flat on the ground in front of the new marker was the original marker from Camp Campbell. I have photos of both markers. If you will transfer your memorial to “Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke, Christian County, KY", I will add my photos to it.
I had added his name to my spreadsheet to create a new memorial for him. I was doing a search on the website when I came across your memorial in Rogers Cemetery and it all fell into place.
Let me know when your transfer is complete.
|Patricia Tebow Williams||James Harvey Gaines|
I am a 2 great granddaughter of James Harvey Gaines. I do not believe this is a photo of him as he died around 40 years of age. I am Pat Tebow Williams. If I am wrong please forgive me. I am in Florida for winter, I have a photo of him at home. firstname.lastname@example.org

The photo you posted for Phin Clanton is NOT PHINEAS CLANTON. This is a photo of Pete Spence, also a player around the times of the OK Corral in Tombstone. He was a close friend of Phin's. In Time Life's series "The Old West", refer to the one titled "The Gamblers". This very photo is on page 177 identified as Pete Spence. This is definitely NOT a photo of Phin Clanton, although it is often used for him. Phin actually was superstitious about having his photo taken. There is not even a photo in his prison file.

Just wanted to know the resource of the photo. It looks like it has been edited and I would like to find an original copy without the modifications. If I have to order from the National Archives, I need the proper citation.
To order copies of images, you will need to know:
Record group number
Box, folder, and/or divider designator where relevant
Unique item number

|Bettye Hull||William Butler Cole|
I asked in March 2014 and never heard, but I respectfully request again if you would transfer this man (Find A Grave#80130638) who is my 2nd great grandfather, to me. I tried your email but it said it had fatal errors.
If you don't wish to transfer my ancestor, could you please contact me with an explanation?
Thank you, Bettye
|Jim Grider||William McGinnis Haggard|
Jerry,,thank you for posting the information on William Haggard. He is my second great grandfather. I am interested in the photo of him and how I might receive one. Also any information on William or his family.
|Betty May Ellick||George W Jones|
The pic you have attached to this GW Jones belonges to the one that died in Arkansas not this one.
|Richard S. Mickle||Phin Clanton Picture Error!|
The picture you attributed to Phin Clanton is actually Pete Spence. It is a common error. There are only two know photos of Phin (he didn't like his photo taken) and they are in private hands. Sorry but would appreciate it if you would remove the error. You may contact me if you'd like to receive more information.
|laurie large||James Ransome Woodard picture|
I was wondering where you got the picture for James Ransome Woodard? The information attached to the picture is incorrect. He was my Great Grandfather. I have a great deal of information on him. I also have the original picture you have posted to Find A Grave. The original picture had his wife in it as well. Did you get the edited copy of the picture from Ancestry? I have been tracing this family line for 23 years, if you need help in correcting the information on him I will gladly help. Thank you, Laurie Woodard-Large
