I came across this same headstone but it is located in Winchester City Cem. not Decherd City Cem. I only work on the Winchester City cem. so I can assure you it is their, along with his wife. Please consider changing the burial location as these cemeteries are not the same. Thank you, J.Hall.

I surveyed Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke, KY, last summer and created a memorial from photographs of stones that I took for William Reeves and other individuals that were moved there from Rives Family Cemetery located on what is now Fort Campbell.
I could find no record of the graves being moved to Rogers Cemetery. Please consider one of the following:
1. Transfer your memorial to Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke, KY and I will add my photos to the memorial and delete my memorial.
2. or, Delete your memorial and add your photo of Mr. Rives to my memorial
Note, as I write this email, there is an unauthorized copy of MY photo from Rosedale on your memorial. I have notified the individual that copied and posted the photo to remove it.
Please let me know your decision about the memorial.

Jerry: I saw a message sent to you on F.A.G. dated 8/19/2015 by a Joe Carver, KY Legionnaire who says that he has pictures of both the old and new markers for William Marshall Rives (memorial # 52113569) who is now buried in the Rosedale Cemetery (formerly the Pembroke cemetery). He said he would post both pics to your memorial if you would change the cemetery to Rosedale cemetery in Christian county, KY. William Marshall Rives is my relative through the Rives line and I would really like to see his grave pics. Thanks very much.

Hi Jerry, I noticed that you have posted a photo of this gentleman on his memorial. I am not sure if the lady who posted the memorial is still active, but wanted you to know that if you are family, I found his grave yesterday and posted a photo that I took. Not the best quality as the lighting was tough, but it is his burial site. Grave 6 Row 4 Lot 190 in the Confederate section of Old City Cemetery here in Lynchburg.

I am interested in John Turner Mann. You have information on his service in the Civil War and how he died in 1880. Can you give me more information,

Hello! Could you tell me where the Bostick Cemetery photo posted for Smithland Bostick Cemetery was taken? I see the sign reads "Bostick Cemetery", but the cemetery in the background does not look like the Smithland "A.C.Bostick" Cemetery located on the Woods property. Is there another Bostick Cemetery in Smithland? Please let me know where you took the photo that you posted online. Thanks!!

|Joe Craver -- KY Legionnaire||Find A Grave Memorial# 52113569|
I surveyed Rogers Cemetery #1 last month, but cound not find the grave for Mr. Rives.
However, last week I surveyed the Rosedale, (formerly Pembroke) Cemetery in the eastern part of Christian County. (Rogers Cem is in the western part.) I first found a fairly new marker noting the movement of 4 graves from Fort Campbell to Pembroke Cemetery. One of them was William Marshall Rives. Flat on the ground in front of the new marker was the original marker from Camp Campbell. I have photos of both markers. If you will transfer your memorial to “Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke, Christian County, KY", I will add my photos to it.
I had added his name to my spreadsheet to create a new memorial for him. I was doing a search on the website when I came across your memorial in Rogers Cemetery and it all fell into place.
Let me know when your transfer is complete.
