Hi Jerry, I noticed that you have posted a photo of this gentleman on his memorial. I am not sure if the lady who posted the memorial is still active, but wanted you to know that if you are family, I found his grave yesterday and posted a photo that I took. Not the best quality as the lighting was tough, but it is his burial site. Grave 6 Row 4 Lot 190 in the Confederate section of Old City Cemetery here in Lynchburg.

I have attached one of his wives to him.

|Mary Baker||John Turner Mann|
I am interested in John Turner Mann. You have information on his service in the Civil War and how he died in 1880. Can you give me more information,

Hello! Could you tell me where the Bostick Cemetery photo posted for Smithland Bostick Cemetery was taken? I see the sign reads "Bostick Cemetery", but the cemetery in the background does not look like the Smithland "A.C.Bostick" Cemetery located on the Woods property. Is there another Bostick Cemetery in Smithland? Please let me know where you took the photo that you posted online. Thanks!!

|Joe Craver -- KY Legionnaire||Find A Grave Memorial# 52113569|
I surveyed Rogers Cemetery #1 last month, but cound not find the grave for Mr. Rives.
However, last week I surveyed the Rosedale, (formerly Pembroke) Cemetery in the eastern part of Christian County. (Rogers Cem is in the western part.) I first found a fairly new marker noting the movement of 4 graves from Fort Campbell to Pembroke Cemetery. One of them was William Marshall Rives. Flat on the ground in front of the new marker was the original marker from Camp Campbell. I have photos of both markers. If you will transfer your memorial to “Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke, Christian County, KY", I will add my photos to it.
I had added his name to my spreadsheet to create a new memorial for him. I was doing a search on the website when I came across your memorial in Rogers Cemetery and it all fell into place.
Let me know when your transfer is complete.

I am a 2 great granddaughter of James Harvey Gaines. I do not believe this is a photo of him as he died around 40 years of age. I am Pat Tebow Williams. If I am wrong please forgive me. I am in Florida for winter, I have a photo of him at home. firstname.lastname@example.org
|LA Powers||Phin Clanton photo FAG#3023|
The photo you posted for Phin Clanton is NOT PHINEAS CLANTON. This is a photo of Pete Spence, also a player around the times of the OK Corral in Tombstone. He was a close friend of Phin's. In Time Life's series "The Old West", refer to the one titled "The Gamblers". This very photo is on page 177 identified as Pete Spence. This is definitely NOT a photo of Phin Clanton, although it is often used for him. Phin actually was superstitious about having his photo taken. There is not even a photo in his prison file.

Just wanted to know the resource of the photo. It looks like it has been edited and I would like to find an original copy without the modifications. If I have to order from the National Archives, I need the proper citation.
To order copies of images, you will need to know:
Record group number
Box, folder, and/or divider designator where relevant
Unique item number

|Bettye Hull||William Butler Cole|
I asked in March 2014 and never heard, but I respectfully request again if you would transfer this man (Find A Grave#80130638) who is my 2nd great grandfather, to me. I tried your email but it said it had fatal errors.
If you don't wish to transfer my ancestor, could you please contact me with an explanation?
Thank you, Bettye
