Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been taking tombstone pictures since 2009. My goal is to upload 10,000 tombstone pictures a year.

I also want to thank my tombstone picture taking friend Kathi. Together we have over 255,000 tombstone picture. We have finished several cemeteries in the Washington, Westmoreland, Fayette County area.

With the help of our friend Bonnie who is adding pictures to find a grave. We hope to get the cemeteries loaded quicker.

If you are requesting a memorial transfer please give me the memorial number for each person you want. Also your find a grave number so I can transfer with out searching.

If I have a duplicate up in a cemetery please contact me via the memorial. The oldest memorial date stays up per Find a Grave rules.

Again if you are related I will gladly transfer.

Thank you

Happy Hunting

RE: John Kopcak stone photo
Thanks! I guess I didn't think of that. Most of the pics I've been posting lately are person pics of my relatives. Barb

John Kopcak stone photo
Thanks so much for the stone photo. Now the mystery deepens because there is nothing on his wife Johanna's side of the stone. She was born April 25th 1918. She might still be alive at 97. John(Jack) was my 2nd cousin once removed. - Barb Golias

RE: MANAGEMENT TRANSFER
We don't think so but don't know for sure. My husband did have a Uncle John but they lost touch over the years. If he was from Latrobe & if his wife was Josaphine then he might be a Uncle.

There is not a big hurry, if you would rather wait until the snow disappears more naturally. I live in Alaska and would love to have your snow at this point! Peggy

RE: William Jack
That is wonderful that you can go there and try to figure this out. There are actually 2 mysteries that you can help with.

The first is William Jack b: 1788 and buried in Old Saint Clair Cemetery (#84427454). The stone is quite clear that it is for him. I assume that the stone is actually there since you made the memorial and posted the picture.

There is a second memorial, #12615840, in the Saint Clair Cemetery also for William Jack, b: 1788. The photo of the stone was added by Kelly Marshall, who died a few years ago. He had created the memorial. Is that stone there and readable? What does it say?

There is a third memorial for William Jack, B: 1752, #32004101, (probably the father) who is also buried in the Saint Clair Cemetery. There are 2 photos of the stones on his memorial page, which are different. One is the same one taken by Kelly and posted to the other William Jack. The other is not very readable due to a shadow. What does the second one say - can you take a photo of it? Is it different than the first one?

Which stones and locations are correct for each of them?

Thanks so much! Peggy

RE: William Jack
Thanks for the response, Franny.

After I sent it, I came across a memorial for the William Jack born in 1752. His stone photo is the same as the one for William Jack born in 1788, making me think that the one for the 1788 William in the new cemetery might be mislabeled. I have sent a message to the creator of one of them, but have not heard anything back yet.

I don't remember if you live near the cemeteries in question to confirm in person. If not, I might be able to do it when I visit in April.

Peggy
