☑ If you can't be conveniently contacted to verify SACs and edits, please don't send them!
☑ Demagoguery and callous admonitions are ignored. Don't even start! I care little for ideological claptrap and strongly suggest that each contributor be responsible to their entries alone.
☑ Need to copy and/or use my photos? Permission granted! Take the honorable course and take no profit from my efforts. Give attribution only if it suits you. ~and~
☑ My work is not copyrighted! I believe that FindAGrave serves as a tremendous genealogical resource and that to do so is not in concert with my genealogically oriented FindAGrave comrades. My work is my gift to posterity and, one day, I will be honored to appear at this site.
Concerning Transfer Requests: Other than Civil War Veterans (who I do not transfer) ~and~ my direct ancestry, be your relationship vague or distant, if you are committed to improving upon one, not just collecting it, please feel free to request a transfer using the SAC/EDIT feature. *****BUT***** If your bio is exclusionary and copyright laden, I'll surely adopt your policy in responding.
Elmer Mumper Thank you for the SAC for Elmer Mumper #122364169. I believe he is the same man listed on memorial #41005692. If so that memorials is incorrect as I have found several sources (including cemetery records for his actual burial) showing him living in Minneapolis after the date you show him as being buried in WV. If you would like to compare notes please send me another SAC with a way to contact you directly rather than on your message board. Thank you
RE: Hello. Anne Thank you, kind sir. Since Findagrave has clamped down on source reliability, I am triply (is that a word?) careful these days. Doing well, just sick, and what else is there to do but grave when one is living off chicken soup?
The Palmer Poem Walter Butler Palmer (1868-1932) Find A Grave # 87759950 Thank you for posting the poem, so glad to see there are a few who believe in giving credit where credit is due. I had seen the poem many many years ago and loved it. God Bless .. Regards Carol
Riley Smith Woodcock Thank you, Row, for creating this memorial and for the quick response with the update, I really appreciate it! I have been looking for him for a very long time. He was one of 19 children and I have found all but 4, I believe his sister and another brother are also in this cemetery.... more later. Thanks again!
