Bio

I have been doing family research for own family, friends and other people upon request for many years. I am delighted with FInd A Grave and the opportunity to share research data with others in this format. My husband and I are retired educators having both taught in public school, university level and been administrators. My family lines include, Keating, Snider, Whitaker, Heinle, Cobb, Robertson, Gann, Routh, Carter, Dunn, Williams, Taylor. Also have extensive research on my husband, John's, lines, Collie, Jones, Mattox, Moran, Rimer, Snodgrass, Cockrell, Huey. After dragging my husband through cemeteries all over the country for years in my research, he was delighted to have me do it on Find A Grave and even helped before his death.
The following sums up what this adventure is all about.

The Story Teller
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but instead breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us, "Tell our story". - Author, Tom Dunn
