There is nothing more important than family. I believe we should love and appreciate our family while they are still around.
I am married to a wonderful guy from whom I have inherited the most fascinating family history. I spend a lot of time documenting it for the children. My goal is to connect them in Find A Grave for as far back as I can. Hopefully, it will help others find their loved one's resting places.
We became grandparents in July 2011. Our little boy has brought so much joy into our lives, I have to pinch myself in disbelief each time I thank the Almighty for this brand new blessing. As my husband and I must cross the Atlantic Ocean in order to visit with him, and it's not always possible, we have become cyber-grandparents. Skype has become the next best thing to catching a plane.
We are both retired, and a lot of our time is spent pursuing our many interests.
Ruben Delgado Rodriguez While researching my family on Family Search, I came across the name C. Berrios and then your name as the contributor of the PRNC picture for my cousin's memorial. If this is the family you are researching (Ruben Delgado Rodriguez) please contact me, as I am willing to share any and all information I have.
I search a grave in Puerto Rico. The T/5 Manuel Gonzalez Jr was killed in action, August 3rd 1944 near my hometown in France. We erected a memorial where his name had been engraved with the names of the others soldiers who died here. Manuel Gonzalez Jr was repatriated by his mother Dolores Fernandez de Gonzalez to San Juan Cemetery (no other information about the cemetery). His home adress was Allen Street 105, San Juan.
T/5 Manuel Gonzalez Jr Army Serial Number : 12037368 Unit : 17th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron Birth date : August 15, 1922 KIA : August 3, 1944
RE: Sicci Rodriguez Berrios Hi Mildred: Thank you for your response. First I want to apologized if I offended you with the comment about "just find graves". I know you are a collaborator and link families throughout your investigative work. I have a cousin who is helping me to try to find my paternal family "Rodriguez Quinones/Berrios Cortes" from Ciales, Puerto Rico. She found some information on Aureliano and his farm, she found out that he was from Manati. Please forgive me if I offended you, I did not try to minimize the importance of your work in history.
Sicci Rodriguez Berrios Hi Mildred: Are you related to Mr Sicci Rodriguez Berrios or you just find graves??? He was my father and I am in search of his family side. For years we've been looking for our 3 siblings without any success. It will be a great gift from God to find and communicate to my father side.
Luis Jordán Serviá Hola, Mildred: Soy el único nieto de Luis Jordán Serviá (o Serbiá). Y buscando en la "web" familiares y antepasados, encontré la foto del nicho donde descansan sus restos y la foto de el en su juventud. Pregunto, quedamos familia?
Hi I just saw your name on the contributions for find a grave. I am not sure if you are related to Manuel Marrero or even if we are talking about the same person. But if you are in any way related, please answer my message. Manuel Marrero was my great-grandfather. I have all his information and his genealogy but don't know much about the man. He was the son of Manuel Marrero Rodriguez and Generosa Font Plaza. He abandoned my Dad's family and disappeared. He had brothers and sisters but I have not being able to contact anyone. My Dad passed away in 2001 and I had not much contact with him either. I would like to know if he had another family, children. When did he die and the causes. Any thing would help. If you are not related in anyway, I am sorry to bother you. My apologies. Have a good day. Hopefully, will hear from you.
