Kit (Elaine Page-Benson) attended Pfeiffer College in NC for two years and Glassboro State College in NJ for three years. She was a Law Enforcement Officer and Detective in NC for 10 years. She taught Special Education students for 9 years, and spent a year teaching students in a junior high school in-school suspension program. She now spends her time on nature trails, with quilting & crafting, reading, photography and genealogy.|
Morgan graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1972, and a MBA in 1984 from University of Scranton (PA). He spent twelve years working overseas in Germany, a tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and had a variety of assignments at various Army installations in the US. He's a member of the Civil Air Patrol, The Retired Officers Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. They live in Alaska, where Morgan works as an Energy Engineer.
Together we have 5 children and six grand-children. We enjoy sight seeing, visiting National Parks and State Parks throughout the USA, reading, photography, history, Volksmarching and hiking, learning and seeing the history of our great country, and GENEALOGY!
If you would like to add information to any of our submissions, or correct any mistakes, please feel free to e-mail us. PLEASE list name AND cemetery in the subject line, along with the word "Findagrave" when you e-mail us (otherwise it may get deleted due to virus and spam protection)! Also, I can not correct mistakes on other people's submissions; please refer these to the person managing the grave or to email@example.com for correction. Thanks!
Please, do NOT copy my photos or other information to ancestry.com without giving me credit. Simply indicate "© Morgan and Kit Benson on Find A Grave". I'd appreciate a note letting me know you have copied them. However, please do NOT post photos to other Findagrave memorials; just let me know and I will upload them. It is okay with me for you to post my photos or biographies on Facebook as long as you link it back to the Findagrave memorial. You may also use my Findagrave information on your own personal website if non-commercial, but credit is again appreciated. Commercial uses will require my permission in advance.
I am more than happy to make corrections and add relationship links to other memorials.
ALL REQUESTS FOR corrections, additional information, or transfers: PLEASE do so with the Suggest A Correction link on the memorial for that person. [Most memorials will have an 'Edit' tab on the upper right side of the memorial. Click on the 'Edit' tab, then click on the 'Suggest a correction' link on the Edit page.]
PLEASE NOTE: I'm very grateful for corrections and additional information, but I am sometimes receiving up to 50 requests a day and cannot reply to everyone. Please check back to ensure accuracy of memorial page updates.
Happy cousin/family hunting ... Kit & Morgan.

Thank you to both of you for making the correction....Corinne

Dear Morgan, Thank you so much for getting back to me and for making so many contributions to Find a Grave. I did not see any mention of a marriage in your bio. I contacted you because your name appeared on the bio of the Gershwin site and thought you could fix it. I appreciate that you redirected the issue to the proper person. There is no option for this on the edit page. I'll check it out in a few weeks and notify Find a Grave if it is not corrected. Many of us do this because we love history. This is easy to get right, so I will do it....Thanks! Corinne
|Donna Schulte Loth||George Gershwin Marriage Link|
Thank you for pointing out the linkage error. Obviously, it was a mistake and in no way intentional. Her husband's memorial number begins with the same first three numbers and something went wrong during the data entry. It has been corrected.
Hi Kit and Morgan, Appreciate that you manage the George Gershwin page. George Gershwin, however, was never married. You may want to make that correction on his page as well as the lady's memorial listed as his wife. Thanks!! Corinne
|Anonymous||John Wayne Gacy Bio|
Hi, I was reading the bio you made for John Wayne Gacy, & I noticed you made a mistake there:
Gacy murdered Robert Piest in December 1978, not October 1978.
I was going to edit the memorial myself, & put in the correct date, but, I couldn't find which button that I could do that on.
|Karen McKellar||Helen Wadsworth 29492291 Find A Grave|
Last week I submitted a request to link Helen to her Parents: Earl James Strong 43433865 and Lottie McGhee Strong 43434236.
Helen is my first cousin. She was born in Great Falls, Montana. I also have information on her husband, Ben Wadsworth and son Robert Wadsworth.
If you wish to transfer her memorial to be, that would be fine. Otherwise, I would appreciate your making the link. I have also uploaded a picture of Helen (graduation), I believe. Her father's line can be followed on find-a-grave to the immigrant ancestor. Thanks for your assistance.

Many thanks for the time & effort you and other Find A Grave researchers take to post photos and manage memorials. Also thanks for allowing others to use your photos. I just want to let you know I have added your Fort Rosecrans Cemetery photo to my tree on ancestry.com. It is where a distant cousin Robert Milton Conway 1894-1956- Find A Grave #81131246 is buried. I have added the photo credit......... Photo Credit: Thanks to "© Morgan and Kit Benson on Find A Grave". – photo of Fort Rosecrans Cemetery burial place of Robert Milton Conway 1894-1956- Find A Grave #81131246.......Regards Barb Muir in Australia
